They had them at christmas for 169 and I totally missed it by a few hours. Drats! Your specific needs seem pretty specific. A lot of people use solar to charge power stations.

Our use case is definitely specific, and we know that. My biggest complaint, and the number one Predator V2 upgrade wish, is charging speeds on par with the other power stations in this price range! At $169, that’s an awesome price! Almost enough to start overlooking some of the flaws…

You can just get a 12v brick that connects to that "solar" on the back. Yes, it needs 2 plugs, but it is possible. In fact, you can use it with the PD in too to get the 300w. But it is very cumbersome for sure to charge it that way.

Try wiring a 12 volt plug into the solar port and change off a running car

Nice video, pretty much came to the same conclusion but im hopefully the larger units they are scheduled to release works better as I have plans to get one of the larger units from predator. Also given they give an exploded view of the parts in the manual it gives me hope that youll be able to get replacement parts if need be but havent had made it that far.

I really wanted to like this smaller unit. I haven't returned it as we can always find a use, but I do feel like there are better options on the market at this price point. I am a fan of where HF heads at with providing the breakdowns for parts and repair. That's definitely unique to the industry. I have high hopes for the bigger units!

Can it run a welder

It’s a decent product, but I returned it. The charging speed is awful. It says two hours on the box, but that’s both by outlet AND solar which is ridiculous.

Can I charge it on a generator?
@REELVisualsCo8 күн бұрын
Yeah, that’s definitely an option. We’ve charged ours off the plugs on the back of my F150, which is basically an oversized mobile generator. Do know this power station doesn’t charge as quickly as some of its competitors on the market.

I’m not sure I would call it, or anything, a “bad boy”. Especially because of the pathetic charge rate. If they increased that it would be a little more competitive. I’m tempted to give it a try however since I’ve never had the pleasure of returning an electronic device to HF yet. Good commercial though.

I have one of these predators I really like it it works very well my only complaint is I wished it would charge faster and that's all my complaint

Hook an external lithium to it via Anderson port. You can fast charge the lithium and have 1500+ watt hours

That makes two of us who don't like the cold. The Predator and REEL....

Lots of reviews of the Bluetti power stations. Many claim they are good. I bought a Bluetti and have never had so many issues. If you are looking to waste your money and looking for something that might work then get a Bluetti.
@richeastmain403115 күн бұрын
Of the 5 Bluetti products I have, only 1 had an issue and it was replace under warranty after 2 years of use. They paid shipping both ways also. No complaints here.
