This thing is insane. This has inspired me and my wife to take our first journey to build our first ever yerf dog go kart time or the resources or even the money but we do want to reinforce the chassis and the frame and have a somewhat similar idea off a more reliable, offloading vehicle. This thing is bad ass brother it’s crazy that you didn’t get more views for this. Nice build!! I'm new to this world but picked up a 3203 frame and want to put a 420cc on it. From my looking around I noticed i'm missing the JACKSHAFT. Some have said if I use a 40 series torque converter kit I don't need a jackshaft plate. Could you point me in the right direction? Thanks!

If you buy the complete kit it will include the backplate buddy. Some come just as driver or driven units. I can link some if you like of course some like Comet will cost you a little more and being a 40 series they already cost a little more being a better and capable unit. Been watching your stuff for a while now, great videos and work! I have a yerfdog 3202 and the highspeed steering is awful, can i put a rack and pinion without doing the spiderbox upgrade? Or do you have any other suggestions to make it less darty at speed. Thanks

I had a video that showed how I fixed my stock front end and it got corrupted really sucked too because so many people that video could have helped always asking about that darting pogo stick steering on even the 3203's, but unfortunately I lost the video I'm sorry. Yeah you can add the rack and pinion without the spiderbox front end, I just put that on for dual a-arms even though I had my singles just as beefed up. If I could post pics I would I got pics plus show doing wheelies with old front end and steering thats why it got fixed was mine was getting hardcore use. Then ultimately just went with dual a-arms but you can add a rack and pinion to your stock front end and be like NIGHT to DAY you won't believe the difference! I started a KartGuy page on facebook if you follow me on there I have none as now I can post pics to show you bud.

How are you charging your battery with those lights? Also how many 1” washers are you using for the drive pulley(crankshaft side)

The 670 keeps it charged I throw a tender on it every once and a while but as little as I use them plus they use very little amps. I don't throw the charger on that often though and she stays charged good. I believe 3 but these suckers are really thick from our local Rural King.

780 Comet, I've used them on a 420cc and 670cc they do ok. They 670 needs the Polaris type driver clutch with the driven 780 that most do now.

I used a split sprocket setup running #420 Racing gold chain and ran many different sprockets, thats the reason for the split so can change them out quick for hill climbing or roadway use. I for life of me thought of what that polaris driver is specific and the link, even watched the video and comments I got it from, but not enough time so linking you the video he runs it on his supercharged setup! Tires are Wanda off amazon if I remember Ill get the name you think I remember I get asked all the time haha and the front are from from Chaparral Motorsports chapmoto.com. If I dont get back to ya sorry ill try to remember get name from back ones but go to google type in wanda v tread see if they pop up they are real common even have multiplle brands. Thanks thats much better haha yeah they would be a great motor for a carter they have tons of torque. If you look at my recent videos I just got a 2007 Carter Talon running for a buddy that had no spark sat for over four years he had it plus some guy before him the 150cc GY6 was powerful if you watch my video I was sliding it and your right they are heavy karts! That’s a spiderbox not a 3203.

Its a 3203 with a kit from BDX to weld a front on like a spiderbox, this doesnt even have a frame like a spiderbox nor box seats. The rear arm was made for the Tecumseh engine and not the rear arm for the GY6 150cc if it was a spiderbox. Thanks for commentinng though lol I did all the work to this its a 3203.
