100%. S11 was so weirdly paced, I mean we get an entire episode dedicated to the mystery of Eugene's fake GF, which admittedly is an episode I liked, but it's hard not to feel like a lot of time was wasted this season when you look at how rushed 11C was. I mean the Eugene court scene in episode 22 was terrible, I expected an episode of court drama, but we got like 5 minutes in court with some awful dialogue, yet the show had time for 8 episodes about the repears 🤷‍♂

What sucks about Luke’s death is the writers could’ve killed ANYONE from Magna’s group, yet kills the guy who had literally nearly 0 screen time in season 11. They then make it seem like a big death, yet for those like me who lost interest in Luke after he didn’t show up for nearly he entirety of season 11, really didn’t care for his death. Honestly in hindsight, he should’ve got piked back in season 9. At least then he would’ve went out on a high note
@HeyJoshyJosh
@HeyJoshyJosh Жыл бұрын
I agree, Luke should've died in Season 9. It felt like TWD was too scared to kill off a lot of the characters in the finale just in case they need to use them in future spin-offs. As much as I liked Connie, I think her dying in the finale would have given Daryl a great reason for wanting to run away.

@@HeyJoshyJosh I was initially excited to see him survive his comic death back in season 9. But when season 10 rolled around, it was clear he was going to become a background character. The side effect of Angela Kang not killing off really anybody in seasons 10 and 11 is that it created a FTWD problem where there’s too many characters which results in some getting shafted in screen time. Especially minor characters like Scott, Kal, and Eduardo get no screen time after their initial introductions

When Rosita fell into the horde of walkers, I was convinced she was dead. Like, I couldn’t believe for a second the show would get her out of that situation for a second. Unfortunately I hadn’t realized Rosita is actually a video game character, activating her parry to escape a PILE OF ZOMBIES ON TOP OF HER! And all she got from that was a single bite??? Yeah, sure. If she was a less important or a no name character we would’ve seen her face get ripped off. The definition of plot armor and it killed all tension the episode had

That just got me thinking, to me it seems like the gore was toned down a lot post season 3/4, in season 2 we saw a guy get part of his nose and lips ripped of by a walker, sure Glenn amd Abe's deaths were in similar gory circumstances but seasons 1, 2 amd perhaps 3 were the goriest seasons on the show.

The sad thing is that the show had several great points where it could have ended and gone off on a high note. When the gates open at Alexandria for the first time, when they defeat Neegan, when Rick or Carl dies, or even the comic book end where the massive time jump happens. But instead they "end" it by essentially changing the title and starting a new show to continue the narrative and make more money.

I felt the same way about the ending, if not worse, and I also even went on reddit threads after and seen someone say "It was everything I could have hoped for!" I hated it so damn much, it ruined the entirety of the show for me. I never want to watch another episode, not even of the earlier seasons. All because it all lead to nothing. I don't care about the spin-offs or any end they could offer, a show going on for 4 seasons, let alone 11, should have an obligation to give an ending at the finale. And I went in with low expectations and somehow AMC challenged those and went even lower. For me the entire latter half of the episode felt like a dumb ad for the spin-offs, not just the actual ad, since you have really awkward dialogue of characters saying "Oh there's more to this world, lets leave everything for a spin-off" basically. Not to mention throughout the time with Judith, you have Daryl saying "Nah I won't leave" over and over EVEN in the last episode, then he's just like, "Bye" and drives off??? The one thing she didn't want to happen, just happens, and that's seen as a happy ending???? ???????? NOT TO MENTION WITH NO LEADS OF WHERE RICK AND MICHONNE ARE?????????????????? I already know too the Rick and Michonne spin-off isn't going to be good, let alone make sense. Since even after announcing the Rick movies, they still had to answer to why Rick would never go back to his family. And I can't believe in any singular way on why, or even how the CRM would keep Rick there. The only real answer, is they know he's the main character, and the CRM are huge Walking Dead collectors who want to keep Rick for their collection. And I also really enjoyed the comic ending, there were a few things I obviously wanted a few answers to still. But oh well, the rest of it I enjoyed and I get to imagine where those loose ends go. But with this show, I was hoping to get a few more answers given the runtime is much longer, they could have really expanded upon it like the show WAS doing with nearly everything else. And I don't mean the bad overextending from season 5 and onwards. (Season 5 being the Beth stuff, that lead to literally nothing, not even Noah getting away since he just dies a few episodes later?? And somehow "Still" is considered the worst episode by most people? They had an entire storyline lead to literally less than nothing for multiple episodes with the hospital shit! We spend an entire episode with Beth in that place now knowing it leads to nothing but "Still" is worse??? At least that episode we had Daryl, a slightly likable character and It's not as painful to sit through especially on re-watches, the hospital episode is just Beth being tortured and in the end leads nowhere, not even for Noah who just dies anyway.) But with this, like you mentioned, we don't get anything. We don't even get to see Pamela in her sell suffering after the time skip unlike the comics with Sebastian which I don't think anyone mentioned, she's just forgotten. (Not that the time skip was worth it anyway) Everything was just left open, and knowing AMC there's gonna be more spin-offs, even more than they announced with all the characters they can get. And if Rosita thought she was safe by dying OHHH boy prequel Rosita spin-off time! Overall the spin-offs plagued the show, you knew what characters were gonna live ahead of time, no surprises. And because AMC, they even ruined the finale beyond that, beyond all recognition. An ending that we all hoped would be worth all the dumb bullshit they did/pulled throughout the show. We didn't even get to say "Well the show has these really dumb unbelievable moments, but at least it had a good ending!" But nope. Now all that's left is a bunch of spin-offs that are very clearly gonna be awful given season 4 onwards Fear, and this mess of the main show that seems even worse overall given this season and ending. I think Mercer was speaking for the writing team when he said "Time to fuck shit up." Otherwise I don't know what that was referring too, given he didn't really do anything after saying that. Overall fuck AMC. Fuck them for everything they have done just for money since the budget cuts after season 1, and fuck them for wasting everyone's time and money. The only good thing to come out of the show was a bunch of the actors/actresses performances, since without them, if everyone had Fear season 4 onwards acting, the show would have failed long ago. Now thinking on it, they were too good, it's all their fault for keeping us entertained and hopeful on an AMC product.

AMCs fingerprints have been all over seasons 10C and all of 11 and it really showed. It was obvious to me that season 11 was already in the final stages when AMC told them to wrap it up with 8 extra eps. The pacing was FTWD level atrocious. Slow and then rush, rush to the finish line with little commonwealth worldbuilding development. The budget is also what looks like an all time low. TWD biggest problem is AMC, followed by the yes-man Gimple. 100% agree with everything you said. None of the spin-offs have been good. Meh to absolutely unwatchable. I have zero faith it will change. I acknowledge there are a lot of things they could have done better with this "ending", especially with regards to pacing, but overall I still enjoyed watching it. The moment when "Landslide" by Fleetwood Mac started playing was touching. As for the spin-offs, I think the Maggie and Negan one is completely unnecessary, even though I like these characters. Daryl going to France is a weird choice, but then again, it's nice to see the TWD universe move outside America for once. They better explain how he gets across the Atlantic in the first place. With that said, the Rick and Michonne story is the only one I'm excited for. If we don't get a Rick, Michonne and Judith reunion at the end, I'll be very disappointed.

I’m incredibly disappointed in where the show has gone and the decisions that were made. I’ve been watching since the beginning, Sunday nights used to be a big deal in my house, waiting for 9 so I could watch with my family. But TWD has overstayed its welcome, they jumped the shark, they made bad show running decisions and what was once the biggest show on television is now nothing but an overgrown joke. I hated Fear, and I refuse to watch any of the spin offs. They stopped caring about the fans and resorted to cheap fake outs where most of the time it didn’t matter anyway because the character still died. (Like Glen and Rosita). I miss that feeling of excitement, when Monday rolled around and we had so much to talk about; but the show lost what made it special. I hoped that the show would be salvaged, that they would wrap up the story of the Great Rick Grimes, similar to the comic book ending. I didn’t need TWD to be wrapped up with a pretty red bow, but then again, I never thought it would become this bad. I love the title of your video because that is exactly how I feel, and I’m sorry that so many of us feel this way. I feel like I wasted my time and sometimes I wish that I had never started watching, because it has become so very disappointing and the fall from Grace wasn’t easy to watch. We went from watching the best show on television to watching a cheap cash cow. I’ll always think about the show fondly, but I feel like even the best parts of the show are now overshadowed by the greed, mistakes, and the weak moments of the franchise. Maybe one day I’ll go back and rewatch good old Officer Friendly, but for now; I’m going to try to find a new favorite show. Part of me feels like we collectively wasted our time, but for what it was; we had a good time and TWD had a good run.

Maybe I'm wrong, but I feel like a lot of what Angela Kang planned on happening either got cut during production; or during the edit. Characters like Aaron and Ezekiel get really unsatisfying wrap ups, with Ross Marquand even mentioning Aaron had more scenes in the finale that got cut for time. Mercer getting arrested is pointless, Elijah and Lydia got split up for no reason because we didn't see Jerry find him. The whole commonwealth wrap up happened absurdly quickly. Story points are established and go absolutely no where. What was destination 2? Why did that walker pickup a knife? I think the fact that Angela Kang no longer has any involvement with the Walking Dead after this series even though she was supposed to be working on the Daryl show is really telling. I wouldn't be surprised if AMC really stuck their fingers in and interfered with this season.

For Season 11, it all starts with season 2 when the AMC Executives fired Frank Darabont. They wanted double the episodes but slash the budget consequently the story then suffered, they cheated him from his pay check. If frank had the power and the executives never acted on stupidity and just gave frank the budget he needed then TWD as a whole would be so much different. Season 2 would have started with a solo episode with Sam Witwer as the soldier in the Tank with Rick. It would have followed him as we witnessed how Atlanta fell and showed some of what the military was doing in the beginning of the Apocalypse. And as the seasons went on the Walkers would have slowed gone through evolution beginning from the little girl teddy bear walker, the fence climber walkers and the rock window walker. In fact every season would have started with a solo episode following someone in the military or who was part of the government during or after the fall. Crucially season 2 and onwards would have had only about 10 episodes or less a season which would have helped in making the writing and storytelling more balanced and even Cinematic feeling like in Season 1. Season 3 presumably would have introduced and ended the Governor arc in the same season with the final being the destruction of the prison. Season 4 would have presumably then been the group survivoring in the wild up until Terminus where they are put in the train cart but then escape to end up outside of Alexandria. Presumably Frank would had the twd story feel more grand then what we saw in the original show. Season 5 probably began with then being back a pre Apocalypse community with these version of Alexandria being grander like in the comic where there was a lot more people. The season would have ended with no way out defeating the walkers. Season 6 would have been the introduction of Hilltop and the savoir killings before then ending the season with Negan killing Glenn (and perhaps Abraham). Season 7 would begin and end the Negan/Savoir Arc with Negan being jailed in the final. Carl survives. Season 8 Begins with a few episodes with Rick but then is Captured by the CRM. (In real life Andrew Lincoln wanted to spend more time with his family so Rick leaves was probably going to happen no matter what) Carl then becames the new lead. And The season begins and ends the Whispers arc. Season 9 starts and ends the Commonwealth arc. And sense Rick left the show Season 10 will be Rick finding the group again and Fighting the CRM. Keep in mind with this version of the show not wasting so much time like in the original it's possible that TWD would have finished filming before the Covid Pandemic meaning we would have seen The Commonwealth's 50,000 people deployed with the Football game and other establishing shoots. Truly believe TWD was held back from Greatness due to Frank's Firing from the AMC Executives and there greedy penny pinching nature. I am likely assuming a lot but over the point is TWD would have better if it had this structure.

I think you're assuming too much, many of these storylines aren't from the comics but were TV show exclusives that Darabont didn't come up with and therefore wouldn't have happened. I liked Season 1 but I'm in the minority that is glad Darabont was fired because his vision for the show was extraordinarily different and wouldn't have followed the comics as much.

The show was widely famous for being a serious and "realistic" gore zombie show with great plot, makeup, interactions and characters development, and they just turned it into a MARVEL-ish cliché zombie show where the main characters are awesome, indestructible and survive the impossible by doing the coolest shit ever while looking good on camera, meanwhile the secondary ones die in the same situations just because they are secondary (never forget the reapers' ambush in the woods lmao). 4ever a widower of Darabont

Pam has a similar appearance to Carol in the comics and the scene mirrors the scene in the comics where Carol actually does let herself get bitten. I agree with your thoughts on the ending, but I thought the ending made me feel at peace. I don’t know how explain it, once I saw Rick and Michonne knowing they’re still out there was enough for me. Some parts were sloppy, but I chalk that up to the network cutting things to just get it over with. With the way things were going in the first third of season 11 they definitely had plans to have a 12 and finale season with the arch with the Reapers. It all felt kinda pointless once it got wrapped. Some of the things I had a problem with are nitpicky, but it is a Zombie show so you have to suspend some disbelief (the reason why season 8 is the worst very unbelievable) like Judith having the strength to close a door whilst bleeding out, also Daryl conveniently having a universal blood type, Luke and his girl being brought back for no reason, etc.

Yes, the final season sucked. People suddenly showed up in locations where it generally took weeks to get there. Heavy plot armor kept characters safe and red shirts dead. Daryl was kidnapped...again! Governor Milton committed crimes against her people, but they always followed her lead. So many fake outs. Abandoned storylines. Rushed to end the series. And characters were always suddenly saved. When the storm hit earlier in the season, Aaron saved Judith and Gracie, however, he became stuck in the basement with walkers grabbing at him. He held onto a pipe with his one hand, walkers inches away from him, but seconds later, Lydia is pulling him out of the basement using a rope. HTF did Aaron tie a rope around the pipe while holding onto it with his ONE hand?! It's like the writers of TWD saw the final season of Game of Thrones and just went with what they did.

I’m glad you’re back, hope you’ve been doing ok. Sorry to hear you fell out of love with the show. I still like the show, it’s my favorite in fact, but I can see how it can be disappointing to a fan who has watched the show for many years. I only binged the show with my family last year so I didn’t dedicate a huge part of my life to it. Here are some of my thoughts: I actually liked the finale, but it didn’t feel like a finale. Obviously, they were setting up all the spin offs so it wasn’t a good conclusion to the show or for those who don’t plan to watch the spin-offs. I thought Rosita’s death was quite sad, but the fake-out death was a little dumb as I immediately figured that she would later reveal that she had been bit. I thought Gabriel’s final lines to her were very sweet, though. Embarrassing to say, but I’ve shipped Daryl and Connie for a while and I was surprised and a little disappointed that they weren’t a couple after the 1 year jump. Of course, it would have been bad timing since he would be leaving for the spin-off, but I thought that was where the writers were going. The montage at the end of all the characters was dumb. Like I get that it was paying tribute to all those who have worked on the show, but it was so unnecessary. They should have used that time to make other scenes feel less rushed rather than showing characters who haven’t been relative to the plot for many seasons. They added in varient walkers WAY too late into the show. It would have been cool if this final season was more focused on the variants rather than the Reapers and other pointless parts. And the variants were not really used in the last few episodes, sure there were a few moments like climbers climbing up the wall, but it was really just more setting up for the spin-offs (I assume). Wasted potential of what could have been an amazing twist to the walkers. I liked seeing Lance as a walker. He was one of my favorite characters from this season so it was just nice to see him again… even if he was dead lol. Finally, I’m sure we can all agree that the best part of the finale was seeing the famous Rick Grimes’ feet in the mud! 🥵🥵🥵 Best shot of the entire series!

I felt the same way with many of your thoughts as I watched the last season. It was rushed, the reaper arc should have been cut down in favor of more commonwealth episodes. The writers were too conservative with deaths and they definitely didn't give a true ending. Judith should not of been able to blockade the hospital doors after being shot, that was stupid. As well as Rosita being able to get out of the walker horde she fell into, that was also stupid. No way she isn't ripped apart. She was surrounded by like 30 walkers, while being weighed down by a toddler on her chest yet she pushed and climbed her way out. One thing I don't think you mentioned was why was Eugene the last person to sit with Rosita prior to her death when Gabriel is her husband? Didn't make any sense to me. Her last scene should have been with her husband, despite her brother sister bond with Eugene. But yeah I am disappointed that TWD didn't get a real ending and Im not planning to watch the spin-offs. Season 9 was great - 10 was ok, 11 was ok - but 11 is much more wasted potential. Reapers was so pointless?! You know i'd rather instead of reapers we had cloaked and masked satanic cultists sneaking around the woods kidnapping people for sacrifices - no redemption, no humanisation - just pure evil and twisted. Along side that - give us the feral cannibal people. Two 100% deranged, too far gone groups - showing how mankind is absolutely doomed and deranged without structure, and it would hammer home why it is imperative the group try and make commowealth work in the second half - despite the issues there. Just 3 episodes or so, with both threats happening at the same time. Then move to commonwealth quickly to let the story breath.

I did not dislike the finale as much as you and I will give these spin-offs a chance, but if they start feeling like the recent seasons or worse Fear TWD, I will not continue to watch them. I’m just baffled at how they forgot how to tell these zombie survival stories with any sense of realism. In the old days, the only thing I need to suspend my disbelief on was the fact that there were walkers. Everything else felt mostly real. But once season 7 started that was gone. The magic was gone. If the Rick and Michonne spinoff really is a limited series, then that will be the true ending. I'm fine with Negan and Maggie's ending being a simple declaration of peace between the two. I'm fine with Daryl just riding off into the sunset. He's always been a lonewolf, so it seems fine, though Connie should've gone along too. It's really just Rick and Michonne who's stories need to be closed up. But yeah, TWD's reluctance to kill characters in recent seasons led to a situation where there was just too much to address. Lydia, Aaron, and some others walk for ages in a horde then decide to hide in a caravan for no reason. Lydia gets bit and has her arm chopped off, while moaning about losing random guy in a mask who was never introduced or developed properly. Jerry goes to save mask guy, even though he would have been instantly bitten. Then - NOTHING - until they appear with no explanation as to how Jerry and Mask random turn up in the commonwealth. The Commonwealth had thousands of residents yet about 30 were left standing by a gate, slowly getting picked off by Pam and her loyal stormtroopers. Stormtroopers who IMMEDIATELY flop when pressured by the 'main cast'. Loads of explanation dialogue mumbled through - what was even going on with Daryl and the Judith chat about Michonne before the Rick montage. Don't even get me started on the Rick montage. Just been typing this while listening to the first ten minutes or so. The finale was utter shit. It was good to see some old "friends" from the cast doing things, but that doesn't take away from horrible dialogue, poor pacing, emotional manipulation through montage and sentimentality, huge plot holes, nonsensical plot twists, and unsatisfactory set-ups/pay-offs. Daryl re/mis-quoting Rick was the final shit on a massive dead corpse of a show and franchise. The spin-offs will be more Fear/World Beyond-type fodder, made by hacks on a low budget. You're absolutely right about so much stuff happening off-screen this season. Same thing happened when Maggie spoke to Negan about what she saw on the road, something to do with dead walker babies coming out of their mothers (I can't remember the exact conversation), but this is something that would've been cool to see, but instead Maggie just tells us about it. The Jerry thing was pointless. He says, "see you on the otherside" to Aaron when he leaves, and I figure okay we will see him with the hoarde next episode and he's probably going to die, but instead he just quickly runs through the gate in the finale and it's completely fine :/ Also, agree with you on the 30 residents by the gate thing. I'm pretty sure Mercer has a line where he says, "there's hundreds of people out there", and then it pans to the gate and there's like 30 people there lol

@@HeyJoshyJosh I wrote this after a few drinks last night, catching up with your review of the finale, and I stand by all the points made. I love 'The Walking Dead'. Hershel leaving us, Rick and Shane, the build-up to Negan arriving, the Governor, losing Noah and Tyrese, Terminus, Abraham and co. arriving, Glenn's character development, the complexity of the old Carol, Daryl as a powerful side character, Merle, Alexandria and Aaron's arrival, Rick raising Carl in the apocalypse, Hilltop, Jesus toying with Rick and Daryl, Eugene's fall from grace and redemption, the 'group' evolving as an entity and whether it represented right or wrong, the list goes on. I don't know what happened, but around season 8/9 and the big lawsuit involving Darabont, it's like the show runners had to clear the decks and start to run the main show and spin-offs on a strict budget. Since that point, in the main show, Fear, and vehicles like World Beyond, they've gradually lowered the quality bar to a point where anything other than terrible is acceptable. People are praising the finale "because it wasn't awful". It's such a low standard. TWD was on a par with Breaking Bad, GoT, and other huge streaming titles in its early years. What they've done in the last few years has dragged it way below that standard. And yet they still try and con viewers into thinking what they're producing is alright. Anyone in the business or with a critical eye, would tell you that this show - in terms of writing, production, budget, direction, character development, and budget - is rock bottom. One of the first things they teach you in writing school is "show don't tell" - these frauds, even on a big title, can't stick to basic principles like this. There's a general distaste for TWD from older generations because they can see this show's fall from grace. It can't be resolved, because the egos on the show runners are inflated and entangled to the point where there is no way out (lol). The spin-offs will be short-lived and World Beyond/Fear quality levels. If one of them proves me wrong I'll be elated. I can't see it happening though, because those in control are the problem (and the reason why this franchise has declined spectacularly since Season 8/9 of the main series, and the end of Fear Season 3).

Honestly I did like the finale but it couldve been so much better. But the whole season couldve been better. I'm fine with it not feeling like a conclusive ending because... well it isn't, and I didn't expect it to be, merely because the spinoffs exist, we all knew these wouldn't be "the end". But I was still expecting a lot more payoff. The Commonwealth arc was wrapped up so quickly and easily, and I think the pacing and narrative of the final episodes has been very rushed and messy. It's so weird how they set up Lance Hornsby in 11B and all that conflict was already there, and then they just scrapped all that and made Pamela the main villain instead, killed off Sebastian and Lance, the better 2 of the 3 antagonists, shoehorned in variant walkers in the 11th hour without them having any meaningful impact on the story or any explanation also to how they even exist, and yeah just so much set up for the future, but not even that really because we didn't get any CRM connections, Rick and Michonne didn't show up till the last 5 minutes, and we still have no idea why Maggie and Negan go to New York or why Daryl goes to France. There were some positives though, Josh, Christian, Lauren and JDM's acting was stellar, the emotional scenes of Rosita revealing her bite and her death, Maggie's sit down talk with Negan, him apologising to her for killing Glenn, comic book easter eggs and callbacks to old scenes and characters, full circle moments like Gabriel opening the gate that give some kind of conclusion to character arcs... very dramatic and cathartic moments. But at its core the writing wasn't great, the way Rosita got bit was dumb af, how they stopped Pamela and just arrested her, things they set up that never came up again, the way they just wasted so much time in these final 8 episodes, the missed opportunities to do something bigger and better, Judith telling Daryl Rick is alive was underwhelming af... there's a lot that didn't work and didn't make for a satisfying conclusion even knowing and accepting it's not a real conclusion! Even little moments I initially really liked are dumb when you think about it. Like Negan giving Judith back her compass... which he already did in s9 ep9... Yeah, idk, I've always been more excited for what comes after TWD ends than the ending itself, and it's never gonna be as good as it used to be. The ending was fine, not bad, but not good, and definitely not phenomenal and one of the best episodes ever. It probably isn't even in my top 50 or even 60. Everyone knows the best part of the episode was FINALLY seeing Rick again, that's the only thing that really boosts the episode

Another dumb thing I'd like to point out in this finale is Ezekiel becoming the governor of the Commonwealth and Mercer becoming his right hand man. It just felt out of place and out of nowhere. Sure, Ezekiel was a leader once, but still that was very out of nowhere. I could see Maggie or Yumiko more in this role. Also, I really can't imagine a guy like Mercer giving up his job as a general of the Commonwealth army to become a bureaucrat.

i just super wish this show ended at the gates of Alexandria. the series was still pretty consistently good by that point (aside from the useless Beth arc and maybe some other small stuff) and it could’ve ended on a high note. a cut to black as ricks eyes widen when he hears people laughing in the gates would’ve been pretty perfect. after season 5 the show just lost its magic. And I like some of the episodes after that, but overall the show just took a dive.

I only really like the first two seasons of TWD. As a whole though, I really can’t watch this show at all anymore without laughing because it’s just just so over the top. They should have ended this show years ago. Each new character that gets introduced to the show throughout the years I’ve cared less and less about. So many wonderful characters were killed off just to make room for characters that are boring or just annoying to me. I’ll admit I was really into this show up until the Negan era. The killing of Carl was the nail in the coffin for me. They cut my heart out with his death and left me feeling dead inside. It might sound dramatic but killing Carl killed my interest in the show. I really wanted to see how he transitioned from a boy to a man living in this terrifying new world. As far as the spin-offs go I could care less.

I personally enjoyed the finale and Rositas death hit me pretty hard (A lot more then it was gonna) and not gonna lie I was skeptical of a Daryl spin off but with how much he’s stepped up since Season 9 and showing more of what Norman Reedus can do I think he can carry a show, I’m sure we’ll get good secondary characters to compliment him As for Dead City I am intrigued to see Maggie and Negan developed further seen as they’re good enough actors to carry it and I’m curious about seeing New York so far into the Apocalypse As for Rick and Michonne, I’ll be happy to see them two together again and no doubt Andrew Lincoln will absolutely kill it in the role like he always does and hopefully we finally get more of a good explanation about the CRM cuz World Beyond Season 2 was pretty promising. And also Danai is helping with the writing so I'm glad she's a part of the creative process That said, I always appreciate how honest you are about what you think and that’s what makes you one of my fave Walking Dead KZbinrs

With full respect to other people’s opinions, there’s always been a certain sect of this fanbase that have always acted as ‘yes men’ and praised any bad decision the show made. Many people are calling it a great finale because they aren’t emotionally prepared to accept that their favorite show had a lackluster-to-mediocre ending. This epic decade-long tale cannot be aptly summarized with a Rosita death and a random CGI explosion. Though we’ve gotten the occasional great episode in the Kang era, everything past episode 905 has essentially been a spin-off show without the central narrative of Rick Grimes.
