My idea is coins not being capped at 10 and instead of increasing speed they fill up a meter that gives each character a sort of final smash like Mario can throw a giant fireball that takes up a good portion of the track and Luigi can pull other karts towards him with the poltergust, etc. There can also be gates that the player can spend their coin meter on to open for a shortcut. It would give players more of a reason to collect coins and make getting coins from item boxes actually useful.

The garage mode: This will allow players to customize their karts not just by kart, wheels, and gliders but by playing story and online you can unlock spray paint cans, different wheels and karts from previous Mario kart games to make your kart your own. Creating your own emblem could return too.

Nintendo should bring back mission mode to add more single player content. There should be an option for a last man standing approach to battle mode such as in Mario Kart DS where you have to pop all your opponents balloons to win. And an option to increase the number of players to 16, 20, or 24. Another idea could be a mashup of tracks such as combining SNES Mario Circuit 1,2,3, and 4 in one track as separate laps. Remove the 10 coin limit in each race. Include the Feather item in races as a way of dodging items and attacking opponents by jumping over them.

I’ve always wanted a Mario kart with a story mode and cutscenes! And a hub world where you can get out of your car and go shopping with the coins you collect during races and missions and such. Imagine shopping in Coconut Mall for outfits, karts, tires, gliders, and maybe unlocking some items from past games by buying them at the mall. Maybe even a garage area where you can make your own kart and glider and emblem for your kart (like from DS) also I’d like to see character specific items make a comeback from DD and you’d have to go shopping as that character to buy that item. Also bringing back the custom items is a must

i know everybody talks about this, but unique abilities for each character. Also more not-super-powerful unlockable characters when you get to a certain online ranking, maybe just more skins for different characters ALSO: the feather item in online and grand prix races would be so cool, such a cool item and I don't think it should be limited to battle modes! this will come with its own unique shortcuts in some races ALSO: more tracks with split paths where there is multiple options

My idea for Mario Kart 9 is a TON of game modes obviously, there would be a normal race mode, but there could also be a story mode that plays out like Kirby Air Ride, with an open world where you complete challenges, face bosses, and practice skills. There would also be a mini-game mode with games like Renegade Roundup and others from Mario Kart 8, plus new ones like Capture the Flag, Soccer (basically Rocket League), and more. You could make custom cups by combining tracks from different cups into your own special one. Lastly, the Double Cherry could be added as an item it would temporarily clone you, so if you throw a green shell, your clone does too, but if you get hit the clone disappears so like an as an extra life. Also, great video I really liked the Mega Mushroom idea; Mario Kart 8 felt weird without it.(i just relised how much I wrote Sorry for making you read all of it )

I really like your ideas however i would like to suggest some ideas i had to build upon this concept. Firstly something i would love to see in the next Mario Kart game is special items for each character like Tour and Double Dash, although those who would rather play normally should be able to turn them off. Something else from Tour i would love to see is costumes for the characters, maybe Nintendo could release new costumes in waves to keep people going back to the game or even have them unlocked through challenges (like defeating bosses for example). Tour already has alot of them, Nintendo just needs to port them in! Also, I'd like to see a shop where you can spend coins on unlockable vehicle parts, costumes or even characters! You mentioned coins not being items anymore and instead only on the tracks themselves, having a shop would give more reason to try and get as many coins as possible! Lastly, some sort of Cup creator would be amazing, or some sort of course playlist. When playing VS-mode i sometimes get pretty tired of picking a new track after each race, having some sort of playlist where you can select up to 4 tracks that are in the game to create a Cup would be so good. For the Cup emblem they could just make it be your Mii.

Here's an idea for a new battle mode: Mega Bash. It'd work something like this; one racer is randomly picked to be given the effects of the Mega Mushroom and is tasked to crush as many other racers. The effects last 25-30 seconds and after that they are given to another racer. The racer who has crushed the most other racers by the time is up is the winner

Same goes for the kart parts Modes 200cc Mirror, Reverse Mode like in MKTour Battle Mode: The same modes from MK8DX plus a hide and seek mode. A Story/Adventure mode with missions and boss battles Online A Time Trial mode where you race against 11 other people who are ghosts. Everybody starts on the same place and has 3 mushrooms, a better spectator view while you are waiting and a ranked mode for the competitive players Tracks 48 Tracks with 24 old and new ones New Donk City, a track based on Luncheon Kingdom from Mario Odyssey, Rougeport from TTYD and PLEASE bring back Toads Factory That are my ideas for MK9. I think it will be a great game with them Also this was probably the best ideas video I have seen. You have done a great job.

The Blooper should be removed as an item because it hardly does anything at all and is just there to ruin the footage. The Blooper is one of the worst items in the series. The Mega Mushroom should never return as it's just a worse Star. The POW Block and Thunder Cloud should also never return because the former is just a worse Lightning and the Thunder Cloud is the worst item ever. The Fake Item Box will need more than just a more convincing appearance, it will need a completely nee function to separate it from the Banana and fulfill its purpose of tricking players.

I can list a ton of new track ideas I have in mind, but some characters I’m thinking of are Nabbit, King Bob-Omb, Monty Mole, and Chargin Chuck. Remove Pink Gold Peach and make her an alternate skin for Peach though

I have a great (in my opinion) idea for an item. The Invisible Cap! This would replace the Boo, instead allowing you to pass through specific walls in a track. When it’s equipped, some walls will turn transparent, allowing you to drive straight through them. On top of that, you will have the Boo’s invincibility from stage hazards and items. Also how is your channel so underrated? I’m a sucker for Mario Kart 9/10/X concept videos. Now I’m gonna binge your channel. Bye!

I want a propper camagne mode like in the forza games, except ypu can pick an in universe brand and race for that brand, there can be online compatibility with this too, where you can race with other people who chose the same brand as you and they can be your team. There can be a top racer in every team, who can compete in competitions to encourage players to be good at the game and learn the mechanics.
