During a livestream on Minecraft SOS, I managed to predict lightning with 100% accuracy, and paid the price for my gift of prophecy.

Honestly this was such a triple-whammy of a moment: the foreshadowing, the immediate misfortune, and the music cutting out right at the realization. R.I.P. that poor shulker box, but damn that is pure, accidental comedy gold.

If the server went into roleplay and focused on lore, this exact scene could happen, but it would be staged, so Pix would say what he said, and then somewhere else, someone would run a command(or use modded items if its a modded world) to summon lightning at Pix's place. The fact that the server doesn't focus on lore, means that this clip was a sheer coincidence.

@@itsv1p3r it's not crazy. Staging stuff like this has long been a trend, especially when the target demographic is kids. Content aimed towards teens and adults tend to be more improv, but kid-centred content might be staged as such. This server isn't. And to clarify, staging lore isn't bad. "Staging" Does not inherently mean a bad thing.

They make stuff up then act it out and situations like this would just be extra effects to sell the story. It's all for fun so who cares if it's fake, especially since people have been creating stories since the beginning of humanity. It's really not all that crazy.

It wasn’t actually the dolphins but someone and myself said that in chat and we all ran with it for the next couple days 😂 I believe pix reference it real quick in the yt video also.

Something similar happened when me and my friend were playing the PS4 version of minecraft (this was before aquatic update) We were building a dock during a thunderstorm and my friend found a skeleton horse. The horse got struck by lighting and turned into multiple skeleton horses with skeletons on their backs that had enchanted iron helmets and bows My friend died instantly while I lived at half a heart. My friend and I wearing leather because we lost our iron armor in a ravine with lava. (surprised I even lived) Later I found out that was very rare and *even rarer* to occur on PS4.

I believe there is a bug that it didn't drop the content of the shulker box. Lightning for some reason kills the entity AND what it drops, which is really annoying. Shulker boxes drop their items when destroyed by lava for example for those who think it shouldn't drop the items.

It did drop the items! A ton of stone ended up back in my inventory after I'd dropped it all into the shulker box.
