I stopped watching the anime after 5D, so learning new archetypes post 5D's is great. And it's always good to hear a good ritual deck, rituals always seem to be the butt of the joke in Yu-Gi-Oh.

There's a really funny lock you can pull off pretty easily: The guard dog lock. Printed once in 2004, Guard Dog reads: FLIP: "Your opponent cannot Special Summon for the rest of this turn." If you can get it into the graveyard and have Tarotrei on board, it's free and effortless to lock in the draw phase and summon it back in the end phase when it's beaten over by their normal summon.

The tindangler has infected Nova's soul I remember building krawler with a prediction package (3tarot 3 spell 1 pot of the forbidden and 3 pre-prep) It was an opportunity to also jam again world chalice as another high level monster for the ritual summon that next turn would search a WL card And if I recall correctly if deus is destroyed he can search the Tarot's Sin they are lv 9

I remeber using Terotrei in a Shaddoll deck I used a while back. I used it to bring back my Shaddoll monsters, flip them when I needed them, and later fuse them with Magicalized Fusion to summon Quintet Magician as a finisher. Even used Pot of the Forbidden as some spicy tech for a surprise raigeki or feather duster when I needed it, then a rank 9 every now and again.

Another fun cards is summoner of illusions, it tributes a monster to summon a fusion from extra but is destroyed on end phase, you can use dragostapelia to negate, DPE to destroy (it wont revive itself), or even bloom diva if you want to keep the monster.

I gotta let everyone know. But “Ret-Time Reviver Emit-ter” is a Great Lever 2. Tuner monster that: -can be special Summoned from Hand and Grave. By flipping two Monsters down! -One on your field and the Opponents! And banishes itself when it leaves the field! I don’t know about you, but this card has some crazy combo potential that also give Synchro access!

What if there were fusions similar to the Odd Eyes ones with the other dimension dragons for Dark Magician with Neos, Stardust Dragon, and Utopia? The Dark Magician and Neos fusion would be able to be summoned with Eye of Timaus. The Dark Magician and Stardust Dragon Synchro form would be able to treat Dark Magician as a level 1 tuner (and following Dark Magician the Dragon Knight, it would be named Dark Magician the Stardust Knight). The Dark Magician and Utopia Xyz form should be considered a Chaos Number and would be able to be alternatively summoned by sending a ritual spell that can summon Black Luster Soldier to be able to overlay Utopia with Dark Magician. Wouldn’t this be cool?

@@Bezaliel13, and there would have to be a new archetype that can support those four monsters. It would most likely be a new HERO archetype that features retrains of monsters used by Yugi, Jaden, Yusai, and Yuma. I suspect that it would feature retrains of the original five Elemental HEROes, the DSOD Magician Girls, the Knights of Face Cards (King’s Knight, Jack’s Knight, and Queen’s Knight), some of Yusai’s Synchrons and their Warrior Synchros, and some of Yuma’s omnimats like Gagaga Magician. The Egyptian Gods could get much needed support through this archetype as well, maybe even Majestic Synchro forms. Maybe Pendulum Summoning would come into play (though that would be too close to Yuya’s play style).

When I first saw this Archetype in Yugioh Duel Links I was confused by their names, but as I look closer I love how they are all based on the types of Predictions.

I'm still mad that like for Shinobirds, Prediction Princesses' entiere core is barely viable. All the usefulness is in the Ritual monsters, so you end up just playing the ritual monsters with a better Ritual support like Impcantations and ignoring everything else in the archetype. Flips really did not age well. We really need some kind of "Catalyst Field" for flip monsters (understand a busted field spell for the mechanic), that would allow you to really easily change their positions over and over, rather than having to wait or struggle to summon things like Borrelguard, or have to wait for the opponent's turn with cards like Pawns... Flips have some incredible pay-offs like being able to hard fusion summon Winda with the Shaddoll Link, or some Flip monsters like Guard Dog having some of the most busted effects in the game if you can use them, but they're undersupported in all other departments.

If your Playing Fairy and Fiends, play “Stained Glass of Light & Dark” Depending on what’s on the field, This Trap can both fill your Hand and also Empty your opponents! Which is made even funnier since it will basically discard an extra card if they have an additional card in their hand, leaving them with only the one. Graveyard utility is something you will have to avoid, but it isn’t too much of a problem if you play cards to screw over them over with “Called by the Grave”.

Ritual summon Tarotreith face-down, then ritual summon Tarotrei face-up. You can use Tarotrei to flip Tarotreith, which summons Pot of the Forbidden from the deck face-down. Use Tarotreith's other effect to turn your Pot sunny side up, and you can trigger its effect to look at your opponent's hand and loop one card from it. Then overlay Tarotreith with Pot to summon Enterblathnir and remove another card from your opponent's hand by detaching Tarotreith. During the end phase, Tarotrei summons back Tarotreith face-down. At the start of your opponent's turn, you can use Rei to flip Reith, which can summon from the deck a flip like Deus X-Krawler, or Whirlwind Weasel, or Guard Dog, depending of what you saw in their hand, and use Reith to flip it. Basically this new support is handloop 2 + either a walking Skill Drain or a VFD effect for all special summons or all spell/traps. Prediction Princesses have their own Scythe lock, for better or for worse.

personally, I love using summoner of illusions in this deck. then use its effect to summon a fusion monster who cannot be destroyed by card effects. gives me an easy Bloom Diva summon

The new ritual spell was SO close to being good. All they had to do was change "This card can be used to ritual summon any 'prediction princess' ritual monster" to "This card can be used to ritual summon 'Prediction Princess Tarotrei' or 'Prediction Princess Tarotreith'. Boom, now you have a target for Pre-preparation of Rites that also let's you search any of the 2 ritual monsters you want. This isn't a new idea either. The ritual spell "End of the world" from the *GX era* had this wording wich included Demise, king of armagedon and Ruin, queen of oblivion. The only reason why they would make it summon any prediction princess ritual is for future proofing, in case Konami ever decides to print more support for this archetype, wich I sincerely doubt they will, given how obscure it is.

I love prediction princess i used them with assault mode to go into level 9 for tributes synchro into cloud castle for reviving key monsters like big jar or princess and summon link 4 monsters with help of halq and jet but the deck works much better now and doesnt really need the engine so i feel kinda sad

I actually wrote up a Goblin Squad expansion What a pain in the PROBLEM SOLVING TEXT! Goblin Headquarters Field Spell “Goblin Black Ops” and monsters with “Goblin” and “Squad” or “Force” in their original name gain 200 ATK&DEF for each of those on the field; also if they are Special Summoned, you can switch their Battle Position to have then gain 400 ATK/DEF.
