@@ralusa6970 yes hun... take your time! Enjoy your young adult life & enjoy the alone time your partner before bringing a baby into it! I promise you won't regret it. I met my husband at 17. We married at 21 & 22 years old. We're now 25 & 26 years old. We've already bought our first house & we've been financially good for a few years now... but we just started trying to conceive this year 😊 Still no luck... so throw me some baby dust! 👶🥰 But let me tell you.... its SO much more exciting when you're mentally ready for a baby. Even though we've been extremely careful at preventing pregnancy in the past... I still always imagined I'd accidentally get pregnant & that terrified me tbh... I've always dreamed of happily planning our baby & dreamed of telling our family & them be over the moon happy... not worried & mad. Now that I'm at this point in my life... it's SO SO exciting & SO worth the wait ❤

Mmm not sure I agree that pregnant women need to not complain about that they are going through whether it be pain, happiness or emotional exhaustion. Women need to remember that they are entitled to feel what they are feeling no matter what someone else is going through. People are so hyper sensitive about what they are going through that it’s projected onto other women. Feel your feelings and feel what you are going through, it’s okay! just know that someone else’s situation is their own. People/women need to recognize that.

This!! We didn't actually choose to be the sex that carries children, so it's not really fair to say that just because we chose to have children we shouldn't express pain and trauma around pregnancy. Men don't have to make that choice to have kids. We can simultaneously be glad for the chance to make our own reproductive choices and experience pregnancy and also have complex feelings around it. Of course be sensitive when you don't know someone else's history around pregnancy, but it's upsetting to feel like gratitude is the tax we pay on the basic right to freely choose to be pregnant.

Achieved what? Finished high school, got married, started having babies. Not really an achievement. No education, no traveling, no career. YouTubing is not sustainable in the long run- you need to keep producing sellable content, which means your life is driven by it- keep moving houses, keep having babies. You aren’t really living your life. Think about it.

Skin tags form in any areas of increased skin friction. In a lot of people the armpits, groin, around the necks from shirts constantly rubbing, etc. Luckily if you remove them before they get bigger they stay away. A nuisance but it happens ☺️. On the topic of body hair, making my own sugar paste at home made things so much simpler and easier. There are good recipes on youtube to follow. You only need one cup of sugar, 2tbsp of lemon juice, 4 tbsp of water and a tsp of salt. It's quick to make, easy to use once you get used to it, it is more painful than shaving, but the hairs seem to grow back less and less with time, and overall you need to do it way less times. No itching at all... ingrown hair can happen, but I feel like it happens less so than after shaving. It is pretty much free, all natural ingredients, dissolves in water... I even did it in late pregnancy. I love it so much and had to share. Affordable, natural, efficient, lasts longer, and reduces hair growth.

I was adopted by a woman who couldn't have children (she's an absolutely amazing mom, 12/10), and I'm getting ready for a family planning appointment tomorrow. My husband and I are both nervous. My mom's told me to just be honest with how I feel, physically and emotionally. She's absolutely been my rock during all of this, and my husband and I are grateful for her experience with kids and as a nurse. She learned about pregnancy from her mom, who was called home by God some years ago, and she's been passing that knowledge on to me.

I disagree. I think sleep when the baby sleeps is helpful and doable if you're a first time SAHM. It helped me recognize just how much sleep I actually as a first time mom, and that I NEEDED naps in the first 3 months of the baby's life. Honestly though, sleeping when the baby sleeps in general is not very practical for those with multiple kids unless u have a sitter/nanny. Also preparing food ahead of time allows for you to eat when the baby is eating, and you can have people bring food to you.

Just think of yourself as “Sexy Eve,” bet she had pubic hair and was a good lookin gal who could catch Adam’s gaze any time she wanted. Seriously, expecting yourself to be hairless is v modern and IMO twisted and letting go can be liberating, in many ways. Please understand hair is not inherently dirty. I understand preferences... but this one is mostly steeped in sexist cultural norms, and when you’re so pregnant? 💗

@@Ichigo2058 was disappointed by this honestly and it made me hungry for like-minded people. I’ve let all shaving go and look back as if that responsibility was part of my past life. Being bound by the idea that naturally I’m something to be ashamed of, something to correct, clean, keep adolescent. I’ve always blamed the expectation that you are shaved on pornography and was surprised that it’s such a part of this marriage, especially so late in pregnancy. But my husband reminded me that Christianity can be very patriarchal and that seeing women as unclean may be pretty pervasive. Makes me sad really. (On my husbands account as it’s ad free.) I hate our “must shave” culture that you can’t let go of until you explore actually letting it go. It’s weird... when I stopped all shaving at 35 I felt like a maturity and sexuality lightbulb finally came alive that had been seriously delayed.

I absolutely hated both pregnancies… omg I really struggled and some days I had to go to the maternity ward for IV fluids and other big issues. The fact that other women cannot get pregnant doesn’t diminish the problems other women have during their pregnancies. I suffered a miscarriage and that made me realise that even though I’m fortunate about being able to get pregnant, women are still scared of talking about things cause they don’t want to hurt others.

I definitely napped once a day with each of my babies. My naps were short….maybe 20 minutes, with toddlers in my nest (the nook behind my curled up knees on the couch), so I could feel them if they got up. I had special toys tucked away just for nap time, so that my older kids had something to occupy them. With our last babe, our kids were old enough to watch an episode of something while I quickly checked my eyelids for cracks. That being said, all the other baby napping time was spent with kids and taking care of other tasks. I breastfed each baby for a couple of years, and was up with them at night (no sleep training), so this is how I could be the best me. Just some insight for anyone who might be looking for this type of info. You look lovely Delilah, and I can totally relate to the boost in confidence that comes from pregnancy

@H Margerison sids risk peak at 2-4 months, decreases sharply after 6 months and is extremely rare after 1 year by the time their toddlers. Hope you find the best arrangements for you and baby to get the best sleep you can! My baby won't sleep alone on his back for more than 45 mins at a time 😭

What’s hardest from an intimacy POV (not sexual) is practicality of bump but also smell sensitive as well, which means no kissing, which is such an intimate thing to lose.

Your honest and sweet! Congratulations to yall, and hope you have a wonderful labor a delivery of baby #3. I'm not far behind you on baby #2, at 31 weeks. Here we go! And hit nail on the head with what you were talking about with pregnancy. There are really hard parts, its all beautiful and a blessing, but sometimes hardships even with it. And some women have very very hard pregnancies and deliveries. It happens. And women who struggle with infertility and child loss are loved and respected. That is a mountain some folks have to face and its a very hard climb. And on both side folks need to be loving and compassionate towards one another.

I had my first daughter 6 months ago. I want more kids but I tore while giving birth. How do you prepare your body and avoided tears?
@mirandarileydesigns
@mirandarileydesigns 3 жыл бұрын
I hope it's okay that I answer this. I've had 6 kids and I had a 2nd degree tear after baby #1. I shared my worries about tearing again with my midwife and she suggested perineum massage leading up to birth and then right before baby crowned she did hot compress. She also had my push really slow. A good birth provider should work with you to give you the best chance for no tears:)

Tip for when the belly is too large to see down there (or any day really if you have the time lol) use a small mirror, place it laying down on the lid of your toilet, place your leg on the toilet lid and you can shave that way. I must confess I only do this when I know I’m in early labor, haha 😂

Yessss the kissing thing! I see my partner around two days a week but sometimes I can’t kiss him, because of the smell. It’s so confusing because I want to kiss him but when he’s close I really don’t want to kiss him anymore. It was worst in the first trimester, especially if he had had a beer somewhere in the last hours (could’ve been the evening before even). So relatable, thanks for sharing.

I hate being pregnant. I have a diastasis so my abs are on fire, which make my back hurt more, my ribs throb, my RLS keeps me up at night, I'm experiencing intense mood swings and depression and this little boy kicks me in the ribs so hard it makes me keel over. I feel like it's important to share this because women are made to believe that pregnancy is a blissful experience and it can be the opposite. Only 2.5 months to go

Having just had my second baby, I totally get this. My approach was that intimacy was important for my marriage and relationship so if I wasn’t in the mood, I just focused on his pleasure (aka just give a blow or hand job 🤷🏻‍♀️). Sometimes just the act would get me in the mood, but sometimes it was just about doing something for my husband without expecting or wanting anything for myself.

My second pregnancy is 100% different. I never spotted and never had breast soreness. I started to have nipple tenderness later in the pregnancy (followed up with leaking milk?!) but that's it. My first trimester made me basically bed ridden, I was so miserable. Luckily, I have a great partner and his family to help with the baby so I could rest when needed. As soon as second trimester hit, I felt like a different women soooooo much better compared to the 1st trimester. I'm very grateful to have another child, but this pregnancy been really hard on me. I can't wait to meet the little one, will be worth everything.

I had the exact same thing. I had 2 vaginal births before and it was wonderful. So, about 3 weeks before my due date I woke up to a blood covered bed. As my son was coming down, the placenta broke. They rushed me for a C section. I was given a ultra sound every week. My doc was watching closely but it didn't make any difference. My son was born healthy 6lbs 9ozs.

I'm glad that you touched on non sexual intimacy. I think if nonsexual intimacy is harder, then sex is also harder because it's harder to get into the mood if you're not casually intimate as much. Nonsexual intimacy that I really enjoy and that is even practical during pregnancy is showering together and your partner helping you lather up with soap, cause you don't have to try to get your legs and bend .... only works in a big shower tho, cause the belly is like a whole extra person.
