I highly recommend getting some baby gowns for him to sleep in, the bottoms are completely open so they’re perfect for midnight nappy changes and just super easy to get baby in and out of. Also LoveToDream swaddles are great!

My son just turned 1 year old and i remember so much when he was smaller wearing footies that the double zipper ones would sabotage diaper changes! ): lol, with a girl im sure its more convenient but with a boy if they pee everywhere and you put the bottom zipper up, then you have to get their legs back in to close that one (with the pee everywhere) to finally be able to put the top zipper down and take off the peed footie. Pain in the butt!
