Prehistorik 2 Speedrun in

Speedy tribute to the game of my childhood. Recorded in one sitting on DOSBox 0.74, encoded and matched resolutions with h.264 on VirtualDub, stitched together with AVI Demux. Big thanks to pre2.mine.nu for level maps that helped planning.
Level times (and comments):
1. 00:07 (nothing special:))
2. 00:15 (decent but 3 seconds faster possible)
3. 00:35 (nice besides the pig part:))
4. 00:51 (most of my runs end in the pit so went a bit safe)
5. 00:45 (went safe on the spiders to avoid a glitch)
6. 01:34 (decent)
7. 01:31 (unfortunate miss of the shortcut; from that point it was faster to take the other exit)
8. 00:57 (the wall clip shortcut is very random and I only attempt it if I die; ended up saving more time than if I didn't die :D)
9. 01:41 (unfortunate death but come on, that part ain't easy, lol)
Final boss and credits: 00:21 (nothing special)
TOTAL: 09:47

damnnnn i never ever finish it, stuck at the same place - not the ice level, or the ice cliff jump, but at the trees, because its slippery, and salute you, not for the speedrun, but for finding all the hidden things youre the man (girl?), i still remember, 13 hours and barely ice level, sigh

very very nice speedrun... even my disk has that little green dot glitch on one of the starting screen... and ive a really strange bug too on real hardware! a lot of times ingame sound just disappear and if i try to exit it just freeze the pc O_o

I don't know why, but I remember going through one more level, somewhere between the one with the monkey and the one in the green wood. There were small huts and the first possibility to fly. But when I watch the walkthroughs, it is not there. Does anybody know why? Is there anyone who remembers this episode?

+Malgorzata K Yep, you're not crazy. That is actually level 4. You access that level by normal means, that is, beating the ape, getting the lighter he drops and the traffic light in his spawn. If you go to the bonus level instead (way above) as seen on this video you skip the level you're asking about and jump to level 5! watch?v=IpMSqD-bSiE. There. :)

I correct myself, I played it and still is level 3, the difference is the route to finish it. There's 3-A (Through boss and going through the level with the huts) and 3-B (The bonus level itself). Here's clearer: watch?v=VlFa9UB6LYo

I remember being hit without taking damage too. I take it was an intended thing with that boss in particular, otherwise would be a really tough mid-game boss I guess.
