Janet is waiting for her father to pick her up to take her to the hospital, when her contractions begin to get more intense. She decides to just grab a taxi, thinking it will be the fastest way. When she finally flags down a cab, the driver refuses to take her. Then after some negotiating, he agrees to give her a ride to the hospital. But then, when she is already inside the car, the driver reconsiders and forces her out. Just as this thoughtless man is physically taking her out of the back seat, Janet's father, Mango Park Police Captain James Porter arrives on the scene.
