People often think that if there isn’t physical abuse then it isn’t really abusive; but that is not true. He was mean and aggressive and disrespectful to his wife. He was making her life miserable by berating and belittling her. Love it whenever Captain Porter is in the story. The only complaint I have is that the title was unnecessary because race wasn’t a factor in the story/life lesson.

I agree. I do enjoy Soulsnack’s videos, but I do feel as if they sometimes unnecessarily include the titles about race. For instance, this title is ‘White Police Chief Attacks Wife and Threatens Black Police Captain over 911 Call.’ The title is unnecessary, as it points out the police chief as white (bad guy) and the police captain as black (good guy). However, it includes nothing about the race of the white (white and good person). It’s unnecessary as almost every one of their videos puts white people in a negative spotlight. Many of the most successful and honest people in the world are white. Many are also black. Many are asian. Many are a mix. I would enjoy these videos so much more if it didn’t feel like propaganda every time I watched one. Once again, your videos are very entertaining and Captain Porter’s great! It just gets old seeing white people vilified through the description every single time, whereas the black people in the episodes don’t receive the same treatment.

Mm. As a victim of childhood abuse from my stepfather, cudos. But this was a bad view of police that should not be praised. Forceful entry into one's home is illegal. It wasn't until after the illegal entrance, in which he found probable cause to arrest anyone. This could ultimately make it harder for the victim to seek actual justice, because whatever was witnessed in this particular altercation, which is what the arrest was about, could be deemed inadmissible.

That is so true. The minute you're at the hands of someone else is the minute they think they can control you. They threaten to put you out every time you disagree with them they, give you nasty ultimatums, ("If you don't do __ then I'll __"). It can rob you of your dignity.
