Good day Atty! This lesson taught me the things about Preliminary Investigation, it is a inquiry or proceeding to identify if there is a probable cause. Not all case requires Preliminary Investigation, it is only required to be conducted before the filing of the complaint or information for an offense and the penalty for an offense is at least 4 years, 2 months, and 1 day if the penalty does not exceed 4 years, 2 months, and 1 day then Preliminary Investigation is not required. Maraming salmat po sa pag share ng inyong kaalaman, Madami po akong natutunan patungkol sa Preliminary Invetigation tulad nalang po ng: Isinasagawa ang Preliminary Investigation para madetermine kung may probable cause ba ang isang kaso bago ito tuluyang iakyat sa korte. Sa pamamagitan din ng preliminary investigation napoprotektahan nito ang mga naakusahan/inaakusahang inosente sa opressive na paguusig, dahil din po sa Preliminary Investigation natutulungan nito na hindi maging loaded ang mga kaso sa korte at iniiwas din nito ang mga inosenteng akusado sa public trial upang masecure ang integridad at dignidad ng sinumang akusado.
