Premier League legend James Milner improves his short game

James is one of the premier league greats, having won multiple premier league titles, a champions league and a career spanning more than 20 seasons at the highest level. He is currently 2nd in all time premier league appearances, having played for Brighton, Liverpool and Man City.

Anyone else been through Dan's entire library on KZbin and now can't wait for the next vid? It's like F5'ing on NewsNow on transfer deadline day back in the day! These videos alone have fundamentally changed my approach to the short game and my confidence; I think just this summer I have improved 50%, dare I say I might be moving to a point where I don't mind missing the dance floor!! These videos are amazing. Dan is an amazing coach.

I haven’t been through them all yet, but I’m burning them at very fast pace. I’m 100% bought into his coaching. The Release 123 has really made things simpler around the greens. I am more confident and feel like I can get up and down from anywhere. This confidence has bleed into my other parts of the game and has helped me be more aggressive in a way, now that I have a really good chance of getting up and down if I miss.

I’m all in on Dan’s method. Have read the book,some sections many times and watched a ton of videos. It works. Shot 75 the other day. Wasn’t all about short game as everything was better especially driver. Anyhow, I practice the one and two releases a lot and the other day noticed something. I’ve been using the original CBX wedges for years because I was so bad at short game and needed forgiving wedges. The other day I found an old Vokey SM5 54 deg in my garage that I bought new years ago and could never hit before. Now it was like a revelation. I can play all Dan’s shots with this thing. And the feel is so much better. Thanks Dan!

You would be surprised, I'm a 6.3 and just recently started getting over the worst chipping yips of my life. I had never felt so terrible with a wedge in my hands before, hit enough bad shots in a row and your confidence disappears completely.

Dan, can you tell me how to play hardpan lie onto elevated green? Like 5-6 feet elevation? It is so annoying, I just cant stop the ball on the green if I manage to lift it above the bank. And flopshot is not an option, it is almost guaranteed thin shot...

What's the difference? They're still people that are struggling with golf. Are you trying to get in person coaching? If not then online coaching of 'celebrities' is arguably better for you since it's more likely to garner extra views, thus getting the lessons to more people.

Celebrities and sports figures attract eye balls to the channel. Dan is running a business and this is a wise business choice. I’m from Canada and don’t really know much about these footballers on the channel yet I still watch every second. At the end of the day, a 6 cap is a 6 cap regardless of whether he can drill it top corner from outside the 18 yard box or not.
