Just a recommendation: Whenever you're doing a Tutorial 101 for Beginners, it's helpful to give a "layout of the land". In other words, show the main features of the main screen that we would use regularly. You can't drive a car if you don't know which is the gas, which is the break and which is the steering wheel. Other than that, pretty concise and a job well done!

Thank you! I was actually able to edit my very first video just by following along with you. You are clear, and even though you move right along, you don't seem rushed. Some of the other videos on this subject try to cram everything in to 5 minutes or 7 minutes, etc. and they talk too fast and they create an anxiety filled mode both for themselves and for the viewer.. You are relaxed; just right.

I was using Lightworks before Premiere, and the way you edit is more like my old flow. I was so overwhelmed until I watched your video. Thank you very much for breaking this down and being organized.

Awesome work! Broke it down straightforwardly and got to the point of the fundamentals of editing (add video, clip, transition, etc). AMAZING video for beginners like me 😂 I refer friends to this video all the time! lol

Him at 12:55: I change contrast by lowering shadows and raising highlights. Me: I change contrast by messing with the contrast bar. Great video by the way!
