Premiere Pro wouldn't export my video

I honestly didn't know if I would be able to make videos on my desktop PC again. Facing the dreaded blue screen of death every step of the way, I had a challenging time getting Premiere Pro to export a video, trying all sorts of different things in an attempt to get my completed video out of my computer and onto the internet.
For anyone struggling with this, it may be an issue with the GPU using 100% of VRAM. I found this article from Puget Systems after I made this video; it has a few tips to overcome this problem: www.pugetsystems.com/support/...

I was having the same problem! My gpu is a rtx 2060 (6gb vram) and it was my first time working on a 4k project, i was waving blue screen even during sessions where i was scrolling through the timeline with the after effects links. Changed to software rendering and it went alright Now, does that mean my rtx is not strong enough to handle 4k stuff? probably, never had problems with 1080p projects though

I'm honestly not sure. I have the 2070 driving dual 4k monitors and I have other occasional issues with the display that make me wonder if that might be the case. There's a link in the description about a driver bug that may be of help too.

Hey, this might be a long shot for anyone looking for a solution to this problem. I've encountered the exact issue in Premiere Pro and Media Encoder. It seems that only software encoding works. It turns out the problem lies with my PSU and GPU. I have a 3080ti with an 850W power supply. Although it's supposed to be enough, there were high spikes from the GPU that the PSU couldn't keep up with. Throughout my usage of this GPU, I've been undervolting it. Initially, I didn't have this problem since I applied an undervolt to lowering the power consumption and hence the temperatures. However, I recently reset my computer, which also reset my Afterburner settings. Now that I've reverted it back to my undervolt settings, everything works flawlessly. So, in a nutshell, check if your power supply is sufficient or consider undervolting. It could also be due to a worse GPU, but thankfully, the undervolt has solved my problem.

Fascinating. I've only had this issue intermittently and haven't had any consistent issues since I made this video, but definitely something to dig into should I deal with it again. I also think part of the issue is the codec used in conjunction with whatever hardware issues exist. Thanks for sharing!

I got the same issue as you. Like completely the same, keep getting BSOD with Video Memory Management Internal. Wanna ask if you know the reason why bluescreen keep repeating during rendering? And thank you with this video too. I get an idea on how would i render my vid.

I never figured it out for sure, other than sticking with software rendering avoided the problem. I've updated both Premiere and my video drivers since making this and the referenced video and haven't had the problem again, but it could have also been project specific based on footage or some other asset. Y'know what solved this for me? As stupid as it sounds, I just selected everything and nested it all. Some reason that did the trick.

@@chris_sparrows ye I checked the link but it didn't help. I thought perhaps I had a corrupted file in the timeline but I managed to render the entire video in chunks no problem. It only crashes when exporting the whole video at once. My best bet at the moment is to export chunks and then slice them together and render it again that way, so it's less demanding. Spent a month on this video so....kinda need it to work really.

here is an Idea for adobe , work for customers not dividend and share holders, next time fix first all the problems , before adding new futures. I strongly believe the CEO and COO is the problem and booth needs to go

They try. I was emailing their engineers over a crash in After Effects I was experiencing and it was fixed in the last update. But having to deal with headaches like this is definitely frustrating.

Its insane when you realise how much time we creators spend with fighiting with such things. People should investing their time to learn New program to show big middle finger to Premiere Pro. They never learn how to make this program in proper way beacause most of people are just lazy or Has bad organisation time - they prefer to losing time on searching such solutions rather than learning something New.

@@chris_sparrows No, Premiere its blamed beacause its unpredictable program for commons. Professionals are using Avid for example, but it takes a time to learn which most people never do.

If you've disabled effects and rendered with software, I'm not sure what else to try from within Premiere. Looks like you have multiple monitors, so you could try disconnecting all but one to free up some GPU memory, which may be the actual problem.
