The auto tracking only works if there isn't much movement in your clip, if its a clip with lots of movement, you will have to manually track it all which I can tell you from experience, takes an extremely long time! I actually tried to do this manually before on a video and it took many hours and days because it was a long clip.

Best to use Rotoscope feature of Adobe After Effects in that case

@@mrmr8467 it depends, sometimes Rotoscoping can take longer and use more resources and takes more of a tole on my pcs performance. Also depending on the clip and what your trying to do, sometimes its easier to do it manually

@@ManicJackk yes it is but in case it is a lengthy process, a green screen will come handy, all you got to do is to match the lighting with outdoor and key the screen out properly

@@mrmr8467 well if you have a green screen then yeah, you wouldn't even need to wory about masking or rotoscoping, but its super important you light the greenscreen evenly as to not to create shadows 😉
