Saw Mac Sabbath with my wife a few weeks ago in Nashville a the Exit/In on our one year wedding anniversary. They were friggin' amazing! One of the best concerts I've ever been to. Damn shame that historical club is being closed down. But I am glad I got to see Mac Sabbath there.

The two "Iommi" SG's are definitely knockoffs, but proof that if you play your ass off and put on a good show, the pedigree of one's guitar is trivial at best. These guys kick ass.

How do you figure they're "definitely knockoffs"? That black one is a 2002 Iommi Signature SG. The tape is literally covering his signature on the headstock. Come on man. You're disenchanted alright 🤣🤣🤣

@@joeloneill7137 That black one isn't fake. If it isn't, I doubt the red one is. Im almost 100% certain that black one is an older Iommi Signature SG from 2002. Like I told him, the tape on the headstock is literally covering the signature. Spend 15 seconds on Google and it's obvious what it is. I didn't look at the red one at all so I'm only speculating that it's likely real based on the REAL black Iommi Signature SG. Edit: The red one is likely an early 2000s model, also. Either a std USA model that they offered or Custom shop. I'm not sure which as I haven't compared the 2 models. Their website says it has "early 2000s lineage". So I was correct on that it appears. The black one is probably close to what I said, also.

@@J.C... Incorrect. those are CHIBSONS. The bridges, toggle switch nuts, body contours, knob placement and logos are proof.

@@J.C... they're both fakes. The Faded large pickguard SG is a real Gibson, but the "Iommi's" are fake, sorry. You can tell by the miscut pickguards, the incorrect neck joints and heels, the stamps on the back of the headstock (look at "red" around the 3:07 mark, and "black" at 3:59, you can see it's a typical Chibson style serial/"Made in USA" stamp void of finish), volume/tone/switch placement is off, and the bass-side bout beveling is wrong. They aren't the worst knockoffs I've seen, and since the headstock has no effect on the player or the overall tone, I'm not knocking the use of a cheapo beater for raucous live shows. I'm just saying that those are not "authentic", if you'll pardon the pun. 🤭
