Great video, great gear, and two of the best guitar players you will ever see. I saw the Magpie Salute live in 2017 and they absolutely blew me away. Their guitars and amps just have tone for days and they are both great players that just want to make the best music they can. That sweet, creamy distortion is what Marc has going and when he turns up the tone just blooms and envelopes you. Quite hard to put into words. I could listen to these guys play for hours and hours. Thanks PG and John for bringing all of these great rig rundowns to us. Keep them coming!

I'm just gonna say it. John Bohlinger is BY FAR my favorite interviewer on Premier Guitar. And yes, that includes Rebecca who most commenters still have such a hardon for. She was kinda cute, allright - but not spectacular, let's face it. Not that it really matters, I suppose. But she rarely ever really engaged, just rote questions. Same is true for most of the other interviewers except Bohlinger. He's a little goofy but he's quite likeable, always enthusiastic and actually talks to the people he's interviewing, rather than go through a checklist of qustions.

Hello from the distant future of 2022. The Black Crows are back on tour and are putting on a fantastic show without blood shed. His guitar collection on tour has it's own shed on stage. Guitar changes nearly every song. For unknown reasons there is also a bar complete with bar tender on stage, but didn't see any drinks served. If anyone knows what that's about please tell

It's about Live Nation making money with the Robinsons and the crowd being absolutely bored to tears listening to a predictable setlist with songs played by the numbers, night after night, with awkward vocals paying for $15 MIller Lites, and pretending the Black Crowes are still a band (when they're not). Maybe you can morph into distant future of 2028 when the Brothers can actually write a quality song for the first time in 30 years.

Rich Robinson - relic theory- "when you scratch up a brand new guitar and scrape off some of that newness it just sounds better and plays better, you know?" Spinal Tap?Really? The whole "relic" insanity was started by Keith Richards while on tour for the Stones. He wanted his brand new replacement guitar to "look like it had been on tour for decades", not because it sounded better. But if that's his reasoning...Lightly sanding the neck is one thing, scraping and gauging the body is another. Ridiculous.
@kennsakurai95823 жыл бұрын
Hey Premier Guitar, you'd better cut off the "automatic translation service" otherwise the Japanese translation on sub really sucks and it might make you look really bad. Bad as you don't have any respect for the language nor you don't care much for such. For example "Shake Your Moneymaker Tour" is translated as "Making Money" and White Falcon (Gretch) as White Falcon in Japanese but people here would think of the sake with the same brand and not the guitar if the viewer doesn't know about Gretch and I bet fans will laugh and lose respect on you because of the terrible Japanese sub. Have someone check otherwise you will lose respect from the Japanese music lovers and players, really. This ain't a joke, okay? I'm worrying for you seriously.
