Preparation of camper furniture parts

In this video we show you how we do at Furgo Camper Muebles with the preparation of camper furniture pieces to make our wonderful furniture.
We want to show you a part of the process that we carry out for the manufacture of our camper furniture and we will show you from the first steps to follow until the final result of the furniture already installed in the corresponding van.
Obviously the first step to begin the preparation of pieces of the camper furniture is to cut the corresponding boards into the different pieces that we are going to use to manufacture the Camper Kit.
Depending on the furniture that we are going to manufacture, one quantity of board or another will be needed. Obviously for small furniture we will need more boards than for large furniture.
To give you an idea for a medium camper furniture such as a Peugeot Rifter size M or Citröen Berlingo size M you need 3 boards while for a furniture for vans size XL such as the Peugeot Rifter Long or Citröen Berlingo size XL you need 5 boards of wood.
The difference between our M and XL furniture is the added rear module and the size of the pieces is also larger.
The board cutting process can take several hours depending on the complexity of the corresponding pieces.
Once the cutting process of the pieces is finished, we remove them from the table and set them aside on different shelves, separating them by modules to later prepare for the edging.
After having the pieces separated, we proceed to the grooving, which is the preparation to put the T-shaped edge to the outer parts of the furniture using a vertical drill.
Once the pieces are grooved, each of the corresponding pieces begins to be edged with the edge color chosen by the client.
At Furgo Camper Muebles we have so far 5 colors of rubber edges available: Black, White, Gray, Red and Orange.
The edge chosen by the client for the ends of his furniture in the video was in gray.
The next step, once the pieces have been edged, is to outline them, which consists of a careful method to cut the excess edges that each piece has and thus avoid scratches, snags, etc. and at the same time achieving perfection in the finishes of each of the pieces. edged that make up the furniture.
Most companies do not do this process but for us at Furgocamper, as you already know, the opinion of our clients is very important to us and we like to take care of every last detail to offer you the best possible job.
And when we have the pieces edged and perfectly profiled, we proceed to assemble each of the corresponding modules that will make up our camper furniture.
