I am lost if 5 bars means 25 seconds that suggests each bar is 5 seconds. So how can 2 bars mean 15 seconds? How do you work that out?

1 bar - 9 sec 2 bars - 12 sec 3 bars-15 sec 4 bars- 21 sec 5 bars- 23 sec 6 bars-28 sec 7 bars-37 sec

I just wait for the water to begin to flow consistently (this takes about 5 -8 seconds, and then i count 5 seconds per Bar).

It’s a cheap way of producing and tbh its naff the whole idea is you get a perfect result but having to do all the guess work does not equate to perfection …. I’m very disappointed 😢

You cannot estimate the timing based on Bars / Time.. for example if 5 bars is 25 seconds, you cannot assume 1 bar to be 5 second, since the machine takes some time to rev up before water start to push through the capsule also. Its all based on estimation for Piccolo XS, as opposed to Genio S. Which has a water level gauge.

On the pod box it says that it's a 3-step creation but this is only 2-step?

Like we have to count the timer? And keep in mind the milk level?! I am suprised that dolce is making machines like that, another reason why I am a tassimo user Has a lot more drinks and if i dont like the coffe i just switch to capsuels with costa coffe inside Tassimo works off by barcode and is miles cheaper than dolce i don't recomend dolce gusto to be honest

useless ,, coffee remain in the foam with milk drinks for some reason, tasteless coffee , don’t ever buy You’ll need to use a timer or your eyes for capsules and that will screw your coffee I finally returned it back to the box after buying another brand yesterday n found great difference
