I've been cooking greens for more than 50 years, never used peroxide and Lord help me if my mother found any yellowed greens in the pot. Several salt and vinegar washes are enough.

Steven Barkley Thanks for being kind. Gee, people let her be. I am grateful for you being brave and show us with your busy schedule. I am also a lady that can’t afford organic. I do make my cleaning solution a bit different but I enjoyed your way also. I LOVE THE MASSAGE PART! In my culture I grew up with great cooks and I always cook with love and my meals always feel good. You can have organic and hate what you doing or just having a miserable personality, whats the point. Thank you for mentioning God. God Bless You!!! I also like the little voice of children in the background.

Dark leafy greens, cruciferous vegs are so important for us --- cut out the latte in the morning ( I'm speaking to the general audience not you ) :) & spend the money to get them fresh & Organic as a real treat. Find a great market, talk to the owner and make that your special place for Special you and your Family Make them your main meal with a side O beans and corn bread. I quit smoking years ago and Now I say 9 bucks for organic veg ? -- so worth it. Nice vid ..

We always remove the large middle stem to avoid that fast run to the bathroom! I'm surprised to see it included in the cooking. I know it is loaded with nutrients but I would chop and freeze and use only when constipated. :)

You are good company, your voice is very encouraging. To share what you believe in means alot. I have only washed in water 3 times. To understand how to remove chemicals from vegetables was a learning moment for me. Thank you. My reason for posting this is my heart broke when I heard you say how mean people were, my heart dropped and the tears started coming out. Believe in yourself with all your heart.. sure reply to people but skip over anything that is not lifting you up. Don't stop being you. You have a gift, hope it rubs off on me. This was a very helpful video. I love ❤ Collard Greens. But I am picky about the way they are cooked. Once a person has tasted the good stuff, it is difficult not to judge the way others cook collards. It is easy to mess them up if you don't know what you are doing.

Now I'm really careful about whose collard greens I eat. What happened to fill the sink up with water, put in greens, pour large amounts of salt in sink, scrub, swoosh around, drain water, redo previous steps once or twice, and move on? To much peroxide will kill a person.Only use it with Colgate and baking soda to whiten and cleanse teeth.
