This was a magnificent sermon Pastor Guzik. So glad I heard it this morning. Why are the wicked healthy and I'm in the depths of pain and suffering. I know God's purpose in this, to show me life is fleeting and the suffering could get worse, keeping me close to Him and knowing His purpose is for my benefit, a blessing you could say. Many thanks

WHOA!!!! I do think the Two Witnesses that come will be prophets of doom! Not for us believers, but for these false prophets and lukewarm Churches.

15When they had finished eating, Jesus asked Simon Peter, “Simon son of John, do you love Me more than these?” “Yes, Lord,” he answered, “You know I love You.” Jesus replied, “Feed My lambs.” 16Jesus asked a second time, “Simon son of John, do you love Me?” “Yes, Lord,” he answered, “You know I love You.” Jesus told him, “Shepherd My sheep.” 17Jesus asked a third time, “Simon son of John, do you love Me?” Peter was deeply hurt that Jesus had asked him a third time, “Do you love Me?” “Lord, You know all things,” he replied. “You know I love You.” Jesus said to him, “Feed My sheep.” John 21

Pastor you say Jeremiah did not die as a martyr, but my understanding is that he was eventually kidnapped or taken by force to Egypt where he was indeed later killed. Does that not constitute being a martyr? I am asking because God promised him to protect his life but then i looked up and read this was how he died it is a bit confusing. Sure wish you would clear that up thanks- maybe since it was after his prophecies were fulfilled that some group of men did this not pertaining to his message? I dont know but would love your knowledge on this thanks

Where are you reading this? In Jeremiah 39:11-14, it is clear that Jeremiah was spared. Later he prophesied to the other refugees not to go to Egypt. In Jeremiah 43:4 it says that an escaped Hebrew commander did force Jeremiah and other refugees to go to Egypt contrary to Jeremiah's warning - but it does not say that Jeremiah died there. Extra-biblical church writings and traditions are split as to how Jeremiah died. Some claim that he died by stoning while still in Egypt. Others alleged that he was eventually taken back to Babylon when Egypt was captured, and that he died a natural death in Babylon. But even if he was eventually stoned while in Egypt, that doesn't mean God didn't keep His promise. After all, God wasn't promising Jeremiah that he would NEVER die - of course he would die at some point. Wherever and however he died, it's clear that God's promise to protect Jeremiah's life was specific to the fall of Jerusalem - in other words, that Jeremiah would not die during THAT invasion.

@@makeit2649 Yes I know the Word says that God would protect his life and did during all that was going on...but I wondered how he died eventually especially cause he had such a challenging life and looked it up and it was ''traditions of the church'' someone wrote about how he was 'forcibly taken to Egypt and was killed and died there'. I am not in disagreement with you. It just seems after surviving so much disheartening to think he would still be ''forcibly'' taken somewhere by angry hateful people towards him and killed. He had a rough life. But yes we all have to die and for us death is only the path home to glory. Amen.
