I’ve gotta say - organization is one of your super powers! This was a great video! I appreciated hearing the reasoning behind your grocery purchases. I’m going to apply what I learned today. 🙂 Robin, you have the friendliest and most pleasant voice and also a great sense of humor. I’ve gone back to the first video on your channel and am watching all of them. Good stuff! Blessings 🌿

@@FaithandFlour no, not at all! It’s all good ❤️ I just finished watching the one from 2 years ago when you were zone cleaning your master bedroom and closet. That’s the one where Patrick stopped by to tell you something funny and you laughed and then the drawer opened ‘magically’ by itself lol.

Thanks for your video. I see you use glass jars for many dry foods. I like glass better than plastic, unless I drop it😣. I buy meat in bigger packages and divide it then freeze it. The vacuum sealer system keeps from freezer burn too. Thanks for your tips on organizing like items, I like your storage bins in your pantry.

@@FaithandFlour .. Vacuum sealers are wonderful but be careful with the meat juices sucking up into the machine (even if it's dried off with paper towels, it still has juice)... I ruined one of my machines by not freezing the meat first.. now I clean it, separate it, lay it on a plastic covered sheet pan, freeze , then vacuum pack ... anything I vacuum that has juice (or that can crush, like berries), I freeze first, then vacuum pack. .. Thanks for the great video!

I agree with your assessment of the asparagus! We really love large asparagus and I just peel it a bit if the stalk seems tough. Not a fan of the super skinny asparagus. Sometimes I will use pickup for my main groceries and heavy items and then go about 15 minutes early and pick out all my own produce in store then pull into the pickup for all the rest. Works for me! 😀

Good morning Robin😁 This was a really good video. I really like the way you organize your pantry. So clean and neat. I believe the dfifferent bins and airtight sealer is in your Amazon store. I like your food choices. So many meals you can make with such a seIection. I also buy pasteurized eggs. You are so right about the golden yellow almost orange looking yolks. Have you ever tried pasteurized bacon? It is healthier and better for you. The only thing is that you have to use it quickly as it doesn't have the preservatives in it and it is more costly. I also buy the same preserves that you buy. I love the blueberry and strawberry. Pampered Chef no longer carries your board, but Williams Sonoma carries a white antibacterial cutting board like yours for chicken. Thanks again Robyn for another great video. This was again so inspirational, thank you. I have separate pantry and extended pantry areas, started that 6 months ago when the second lockdown here begun. But now I realized watching your video that I made a mistake - I should have made the same groups to the extended pantry as I have made to the original one. I onli buy red cabbage. English cucumbers are the main ones we get. I love them. I love figs but haven’t enjoyed fig biscuits. We love shortbread. I always feel that gf snacks aren’t as nice. I put use by dates on the food that’s not in the package they come in. Trash belongs in a bin not a pantry. In My teen yrs I told my mum off for that one. Oats should be gf anyway

Did she say, "our shopper did good?" I'm no longer watching this channel. I cannot relate to her at all. Nice lady though 👍

Hi Robin - Of course I enjoyed this video and of course I gave it a thumbs up. I was surprised how many things we do alike. I, too, use Heb curbside and I have since even before the pandemic because its sometimes hard shopping with my bad knees. I have had very few problems with the produce they pick. I also soak all my fruit and produce in vinegar and water. Especially strawberries and apples which are in the top 10 dirty list. Also, since I live alone I also cut my chicken in half and freeze in smaller amounts. I use a plastic cutting board for meat too. I even use that little pampered chef tool for my strawberries. I guess great minds think alike. Today we will going back to Normal church at normal time. Exciting. SS will still be done by zoom until June 1 for my age group. We are being moved to a larger room so that we can be spaced more. I’m so thankful to God for my weight loss so now I have clothes that fit me since I am getting out more. I have learned a lot this last year. I have learned to appreciate the small things in life and to leave off some of the unnecessary things that don’t bring joy. Love in Christ, sweet friend.
