Yeah, but he took him to a room in the shop that he didn't need to go to and he got the pricing for the repair epoxy wrong ... Other than that, looks like a decent guy !!! Just joking of course. This said; "On-Line" shops are a case of selling stock over the internet; so mostly Webpage and picking and packing.

Wish you luck and a good result. From an older windsurfer that used to race in widespread conditions : Try spacing your harness lines so they are about 40cm apart. For some reason the "fashion" became finding the exact sweetspot and if your lines were rigged together on the Wishbone for everyone to see on the beach it somehow showed everybody that YOU were a good windsurfer because you knew where the sweetspot was for your equipment. It's a BS belief that your harness lines should be in one single position on the Wishbone. Problem is; That sweet sport changes depending on the conditions and the angle you are sailing. Widen the space to 40cm for long course racing (especially wind changes and angles). It will allow you to move your weight around differently and in conjunction with the wind changes and different angles you will be sailing. You will see. Suddenly things become MUCH less tiring on the back and the arms. Good luck.

How heavy are you? 117 Slalom board should be a good choice for light winds heats. I remember we raced some years in 12-15 knots wind range, so, quite big gear was necessary.

Good luck with your new shop. It looks like you have lots of equipment to choose from. It's good to do some other activities to keep your body in condition which will also help with windsurfing. Do you do any weight training?

Would you say that there is no chance to get to these nice places if you would have a bigger camper van? I have a VW T5 but Just thinking to upgrade to a Crafter etc. But possibly this does not make real sense then. Thanks for all your nice videos ❤

Of course, choose whatever car you feel like! Just be aware that some spots are closed for cars higher than 2m. :-)

Hi Mario, is foiling for you more "relaxing" then fin-surfing? It might be a silly question. I startest windfoiling three years ago. Due to very gusty conditions at the lakes in Baden Wuerttemberg I'm not using a harness. So for me I see that I need less force but due to the missing harness I assume for me it is the other was round. Nice to see your preparations. The DEFI (in France or Japan) ist also on my bucket list as soon as the kids are a little older. Good luck for you for the next days. Jochen

Moin Jochen, du musst auf jeden Fall mit Trapez fahren - sonst ists mega anstrengend. Dann ist es auch deutlich entspannter als Finne fahren. Brauchst nur ein Set-Up was wirklich harmoniert - dann gehts auch bei starken böen! :-) LG; Mario

Moin Mario, danke für die schnelle Antwort. Meine Kombi ist alles aber nicht stabil...ein JP FSW94 mit NP Glidewind und 6,4 NoCam-Freerace. Für Leichtwind entspannt, bei mehr Wind gehe ich auf Finne. Ich teste jetzt erstmal inwiefern mir bei Leichtwind das Wingfoilen gefällt. Ich bleibe aber wohl Windsurfen mit Finne und sehe das Foil für mich nur als Leichtwinderweiterung. Viele Grüße Jochen

Given the forecast (it's now afternoon of day 2), you may be getting an extra year to prepare. I guess it's the nature of the sport. It has been scientifically tested that adding randomness to rewards makes an activity more addictive, so just remember that bad luck is important too! BTW, the best way to cut a rope is to tape it with paper tape, then cut with a knife or scissors and then burn the end and peel off the tape. That way the tip doesn't form a bulb. P.S. The "beat" in the music was a bit distracting. I was wearing headphones and it sounded like a random tapping sound in my room or just outside (on my right). I paused the video to figure out what it was and it went away. Took me a moment to figure out what it was.
