How does it look inside the miners? Are the dust piling up on cooling fins and electronics, or does the high airflow blow them clean?

The excitement you get while showing mining rigs in every video is at the same level, you are really in love with it :DD You have already found your Ikigai

I would of built a frame inside the vents and made the whole wall a filter ( or 3-4 sections ) you can cut timber with a circular saw and just push in flyscreen spline to hold it.

It's an Idea I had if I didn't have enough airflow. Thankfully the gable vents have worked out.

Couple of questions 1) it’s cold here in PA today. Can that air intake be too cold? 2) are you adding AC for the summer months? 3) are you doing any remote monitoring of power, temps etc? 4) I have a 200A commercial service from PPL and the delivery fees are outrageous. Who are you using for power there? How’s the split between supply and delivery on your 400A service? Thanks!

@THM dude every time i watch your cleaning videos i feel so bad not doing any cleaning in the last two seasons, truly i need to take a few days and go clean the 4 remaining mining locations i have! You know what makes me feel better is knowing just about all hosting facility do not clean any of the miners as well lol , i know that just an excuse lol awesome job 👏.

What's the main drawback of using a HEPA-style filter? Airflow issues?
@TheHobbyistMiner2 күн бұрын
Correct. You don't want Negative Air Pressure or your shed drinking through a stawl.

@@TheHobbyistMiner Would a large fan or two provide enough 'pullage' so the inline fans weren't doing the heavy pulling? Air: such a fickle mistress.

Why don't take all this heat into your home in winter ?

I have miners in the house already lol

You need an 88kW solar system to offset the 400A service. I've got the design for you at around $1/Watt.

I'm running into a similar issue. Shed temps were crazy low with this past cold streak and had 1 fan on at a speed of 1 and shed got into the 40's. Going to block off my bottom row of intake vents to get the temps to pick up a bit. I also switched my one cmp100 rigs over to Telestai which is the kapow variant algo to get a little more heat going. Of course, PA weather had us in the 50's this weekend lol Merry Christmas!

40s is great. I had my sheds getting down to 20F and below.

@@TheHobbyistMiner my s19 on Braiins wasn't too happy with the really low temps. It's set at 1650 watts and was only pulling 1400ish and restarted a lot. Seems to run best in 50's to ow 60's. 20's is really low!
