Preparing Typical Zambian Cuisine With A Local (my nshima skills)

There is nothing better then learning how to prepare local cuisine when you are in a foreign country. I recently went over to a friends place here in Zambia, and she taught me how to may all kinds of amazing dishes. From dry fish, goat, nshima and veggies. I even tried my hand at preparing nshima(which takes some serious skill). It was an all day event. Definitely, one of my favorite days while visiting Zambia.

Love from Uganda I love you personally, ....I like your adventure Videos , I used to eat nshima when I was in Lusaka..nshima is called '' Kawunga '' in Uganda ,ugali in Tanzania and Kenya . This is African food I like it.

I think ugali name isn't original.The true Swahili name is Sima which make sense in Bantu.Even LUHYAS tribe of Western Kenya call it Obusima if am not wrong.

I'm From D.R.Congo. In Tshiluba (one of the national languages), we call that Nshima too. In Lingala (another national language) is Fufu. Zambia has Luba people too who were part of the Lunda Empire.
