My daughters have moved out of the house, but of course I have things on hand for them. In the past 5 years I have really started working on a prepper and household pantry. Still needing to figure what I should have, but getting prepared. Thank you for all of your information, research, and education about this topic with recipes. 😊

Mouse traps! Good point 👍🏻 Nice haul There’s a part of me that wonders why you talk so much while showing the products…..but hey…..now I appreciate that you explain the WHY of these items! I like the insight. As for the chickens and their feed…..THAT is a prep concern for me. My girls free-range and avoid the comm’l feed, but I do need to keep grains and protein for them. Dang, I take better care of them than I do of me. 😱 Thanks for another informative video! ❤ Stay safe.
@ravenlaughs97576 ай бұрын
We keep our chicken feed in metal trash cans lined with construction bags( really thick and strong). The cans we sealed under the lid with flex seal and the seam on the can, no leaks is a bonus. Anything that doesn't fit in the garbage cans is stored in food grade buckets, we use dry ice to remove the oxygen. We also purchased really big rat traps for larger critters.. For mice we use moth balls in the outside trailer and no mice inside the house as yet. You keep chickens you are going yo have mice abd we do use the small wooden mouse traps around the coop bait is chunky peanut butter. In the morning the dead mice are fed to the Ravens who are happy to see them.😊

Good morning, Jara. I just checked and Azure does a drop 4 min. from my house and I live in the middle of no where! Will be looking at them more in the future. I'm spending today organizing the pantry. I have a pick up order at my local grocer for tomorrow and it's senior discount day so aside from sale price, I'll save an additional 10%! My husband is already talking about adding a couple more shelf units to the pantry. Mind you, before the C, I think he just let me do my thing and didn't think about how handy my 'hobby' would become. Now he's fully on board! lol Be Safe, Be Prepared, Be Blessed! 💮💮🥀

I've tried all of the pouch meals and the only one I don't care for is the beef stew one. It has a tomatoes base gravy in it and it's a pinch spicy. I prefer the brown beef gravy type. But I would eat it in a pinch because it is good. It's just preference.

Wow, what a haul Jara! I am so behind on your videos...these 2 little puppies take up a LOT of my time plus my husband is now retired too so we are very busy. I love that you explain how to use so many of these products...I had never heard of inulin! Learn something new every day even at my age! I also got a big smile when you talked about the bars you ate as a child...never heard of them but I find that I have been making things from my childhood as well that my mom used to make. Life was so much simpler then. Anyway, you did a great job here and I appreciate it as always! Look forward to seeing the bars!🌻

🌷added a couple 4 month old hens to my existing flock. Started a bee hive and built a screen box to winter them over in a garage, keep them contained and everyone safe. Trying new recipes to see if we like them and how to improve using canned chicken, beef, and pork. Purchased several cases of motor oil, oil filters enough for 6 additional changes. Started the cups for vegetable seeds for the garden we usually plant outside around the first of June. That's about it for our preps this month

🌻 thank you for another excellent video, I'm definitely going to update my pantry with a few of these items. For me prepping isn't just for teotwawki or emergencies. I live in a small mountain town that literally doubles in size in the summer and we don't have large grocery stores that aren't at least 100 miles away round trip. The couple of small stores in my area are completely wiped out of stock within a couple of days after delivery and the stores won't arrange for extra deliveries during the summer months when demand has increased, so stocking up is necessary for us. 🌹

I was watching another video this morning. This womans husband is an over the road truck driver. Since the collaspe of Francis Scott Key Bridge there is no longer ships going out and in of Maryland (there are 9 ports) so the ships are being rerouted to North Carolina. They cannot find truck drivers to drive there because (they do not want to pay extra money) they are not compensating for the extra miles the truckers have to drive to get there so the cargo is just sitting on the docks. There is going to be a lot less food and other merchandise coming to the grocery stores and other stores so buy extra while you can. Grow some vegetables if you can. It is only going to get worse.

Another question for you. Do you and Mr Wicked Prepared have cows? If you do have you looked into a home pasteurizing machine? Just wondering. Also have you and Mr Wicked Prepared discussed having a small still. Depending on your state you can have a small still for personal use. It would also allow you to make your own disinfectant. ❓❓ question about the spring sale: can you put things in your shopping cart ahead of time? Also, should you click on retail or monthly delivery service?
@wickedprepared6 ай бұрын
I know we've already spoken but I'll answer here for anyone else that may be wondering! You can fill your cart ahead of time although the sale is now LIVE at wickedprepared.thrivelife.com/shop-the-spring-sale.html So no need at this point! And you definitely want to choose the monthly delivery service to unlock the free shipping at $99 and get the additional 15% off any non-sale items you may add to your order. It's easy to control, change, pause or cancel the delivery service so there's really no downside, it's just a great way to save money!

Because of the increase in the ball jars at walmart, getting the jars from azure has actually been the same or less expensive. I stocked up on half gallons with lids and it was still comparable to buying them from Walmart . I wish I could use my EBT with Azure as you can now with Thrive Market. I wonder if Thrive Life will ever be able to take EBT for payments. Those 2 would keep me from ever having to go back to a regular store.
@wickedprepared6 ай бұрын
I know it's regularly requested, so I'm sure if they can ever make it happen they will! Until then, using the refer a friend to earn free credit could possibly be an alternative? Both Thrive Life and Azure Standard have such programs.

It's great! They must be expanding pretty regularly. The first time I heard about them there were no drops anywhere near me. The next time I looked there was! People can even start their own drop... the minimum isn't very much I think it says $550 so a few family members or a small group of friends could start their own. Even a single family who does a bulk order once or twice a year could easily meet that.

Hi Paula, Mr. WP here 🙋♂️ Yes we do try to keep plenty of fly strips in our preps. Definitely a good thing to have!! And as far as out Bug Out Van .. last fall I swapped out the engine and did some other repairs to it. It runs great and everything is all set mechanically! I disagree with you on this. Weather extreme swings, politically things are a horrid mess, this election year is probably the most important in history, all the Criminal Illegal Immigrants that have just flooded our country and by numbers alone we cannot maintain them. Natural disasters such as earthquakes and volcanic activity. Poor infrastructure that is breaking down, computers being constantly highjaked and viruses being common. Everything is just coming to a peak. And biblically you can just go through prophesy and start checking off what is happening. I do hope and pray that nothing will happen but that's notcwhat I'm seeing build up.
