My friend Craig bought one and called me during snowmageddon 1.50 here in Austin area. He lost power and used his InstaFire for his bedroom - the house was 40 and his bedroom was 60. That was with all three cans going. So far, I am very happy with mine. You can get the safe heat chafing heat 12 cans for around $20 at Sam's - that's enough a day and a half of heat.

Hey lady. I have a tip for you. Don't use the snuffer. Use the plastic opener, put the cap in it and place it over the fire and twist. Keeps the smoke away. A lady with a catering business showed me. I also bought a small insulated ice fishing tent to set up in my living room and this heater only needs one can to keep it toasty. So 4 cans gives me 24 hours. Game changer. Good video.

Thanks for the suggestion! Yes, we have several tents too for that purpose. I even bought some bed tents (obviously you couldn't use the stove on your bed) but if you had a small enough room to heat it would be nice to remain comfortable and up off the floor at night 😊 thanks for watching and leaving a comment.

Thank you and welcome to the channel! I have heard of the Instafire Ember, but do not have the pleasure of owning one so I can't speak to its effectiveness. I do, however, own an American Sun Oven which I know can actually work efficiently with baking. I created a video on that awhile back. God bless!

Here is an important tip!! When you first open a can of fuel, straighten the wick up with your finger, the fluff it up by pulling it sideways. For even more heat, pull the wick out 1/8 of an inch!!

I told them Amazon is taking over 30 days to refund my money no response no one is stepping up to make this right very dissappointing

eh, to me this is just a grate and a holder for chafing candles. a $20 wood camping mini stiove and a wood stove fan would probably be almost as good and 1/3 the cost imo

They're useless, don't rely on one during an emergency. I bought one and returned it after trying to use it as a heater.. with all 3 cans going it wouldn't heat my campervan, fully insulated with me inside it with the Vesta running for 45 mins or so. There was a 2 degree celcius difference in temp at best. The fumes were bad as well. Just buy 3 sterno cans and light them, you get better results as the entire top mechanism just absorbs heat to run the fan which serves no real purpose. Redundant design.

I'm sorry you had such a bad experience! It definitely raised the temperature of the room I was in, but honestly, never just ran the sterno cans by themselves for a comparison.
