I've just recently subscribed to your channel and really appreciate the content. Again, another great video. I've heard so much about the boot leaks on these cars, but you have been the first person to show how to repair the seals correctly.

@@fellowyorkshireman2391 there is more that goes wrong. There's a vent behind bumper and also rubber stoppers for boot but these usually do the trick. For £5/6 can't complain although Aygos do have slightly different seals due to shape of lights

@fellowyorkshireman2391 no problem, they're absolutely bulletproof, check them rear pockets though on the back of the sills, water pumps can leak but they're a fairly cheap fix. Heater motors do fail and can be expensive full dash out job. Also they do wear clutches fairly quick, just make sure they're not slipping, they are just a cable clutch so you don't feel much of a biting point and can be adjsuted. Lee off Car UK did a full video what to look for on them

Aygo brakes done, shocker done, test drive completed no issues. Just oil and filter and handbrake left to sort. Have I saved myself about £100-£150 in labour?

Have to love the keyboard warriors, if they can get these for £600 all the better for it but I wish I lived on that planet. Seems austerity and cost of living hasn't hit Mars yet 😂

Had one. Bottomless money eating hole. Even the mechanics didn't liked touching it. Expensive parts for it too. The catalyst converter has to be specially ordered from factory according to the chassis/engine number as no other one will fit in it.

@@FlippinMotorsUK I got surprised as well as the car I had looked ok and I had read online about it being easy and cheap to repair. But after 2 months the repairs had to start as the car started causing troubles. No, I wasn't doing restoration, just replacing the parts that broke. For the catalyst converter I had to pay 800 euros as it is impossible to repair it. I remember the rubber on the rear window had started falling off as well. I barely found a mechanic that would even touch it, and even he wasn't cheap. Everywhere I went they all shouted " No, get rid of it, I'm not touching it..." and things like that.

@@FlippinMotorsUK who knows ... I had it bought from a car dealership lot. Sold it a few months later after fixing it. Bought a different car, from other dealership. No issues so far.
