Mornin', gang. I have a suggestion for Olivia. In the last couple of videos I noticed you have to reach pretty high to get the feed scoop over the chicken fence. Not to worry. When you get to be as tall as your mom it will be easy. Between then and now, try taking a step or two away from the fence and cast the feed under hand like your dad. Only you would be casting through the fence. As big as the spaces between the strands are I don't think the fence will be a hindrance to the feed passing through. Give it a try. See what happens.

Al, have you thought of preparing a Planting PERT chart? This would allow you to schedule the activities necessary for your various gardens (greenhouse, raised beds, blueberry, etc.) You would be able to plan dates from planting seeds to harvesting. Better yet, you won't forget to start the next crop early enough to harvest before it gets too cold. I planned my gardens when I lived in Candia that way. It covered everything from planting sends to preparing the beds and transplanting into growth beds, leaving room for fast harvesting (potatoes, onions) and slow (carrots, lettuce). Let me know if you are interested.

It can be worth it to buy a few of those $10-15 harbor freight grinders for the shop. Yes it sounds crazy at first but they are cheap enough that you can replace easily and still have them setup with a different disk on each so no time wasted changing them to the job and just changing when worn out. The cutoff for cutting and a grinding or flappy disk for grinding/deburing so no using the wrong type as a good enough. A set of step bits will change how you drill in sheet metal
