Hey Y'all... That is my favorite sandwich is Tomato with mayo, salt and pepper. Our favorite meal for the summer is tomato sandwich with fried squash with a glass of sweet tea. We eat this about 2 to 3 times a week. Never get tired of it. We have tomatoes and yellow squash in our garden this year. I am so excited about this garden. Well y'all be blessed...

My favorite way to eat tomatoes is with a good dollop of goat cheese on top...toasted a bit, with a basil leaf on top with a little balsamic vinegar on it. YUM!

There was 8 of us and we grew our own tomatoes. We would put paper towel on our big round oak table and toast bread. We would line the bread up and each of us had a job to do. One would put mayo on. One would cut tomatoes and place them on the bread. Then you could add cheese, fresh onion or anything you want. Great memories! YUM,YUM!

Yeah we prefer the hard pruning method with the strings to climb in our tunnel as well. Last year we did that and it was our best harvest in 7-8 years! Good stuff y'all 👊✌️-Josh

Mike, you can use water to help soften hard clay soil. Wet the area and let the water soak in. Then begin to work it adding sand and organic materials. It will be kind of messy at first but at least you can start breaking it up. Save your back and tools, friend!

hey folks...my favorite tomato sandwich is with peanut butter...I swear...my uncle Garner introduced it to his family and I grew up on it not knowing that it was not common until jokes about peanut butter pickle and peanut butter jelly and peanut butter banana and I was SHOCKED that no one had eaten what I did and most refused to do it...so try it this way...just eat a chunk of tomato and bit of peanut butter at same time and you won't be wasted if you don't like it, be blessed , juanita mae

That's one I haven't tried. We ate peanut butter and cheese or just put peanut butter on a bologna, cheese and Miracle Whip (my mom's favorite sandwich). Never thought to add the tomato! 🤔

Mike have Lacie use the forks on the skid steer by tilting the forks downward and stabbing the soil with the tips of forks to break up the clay soil by doing the same as you do with the broad fork if the tunnel is tall enough Lacie can get most of the ground making the work a little easier for you

Last year as I was pruning side shoots on the tomatoes some of them were blossoming so I tried rooting the prunings. they rooted quickly and went right into fruit production.

Lacy mine is tomato, white bread and Mayo! Mike’s sounds delicious also 😊 yummy 😋 When I have sinus trouble I mix a few drops of oregano oil with olive oil. Then rub a drop on the side of my hand, put it underneath my nostrils. Makes me sneeze and clears my sinus. Get some rabbits they make great fertilizer! Good meat or pets also. Soft white bread, thick sliced tomato with the seeds removed, sliced raw garlic, salt, pepper and lots of Miracle Whip. Now, my mouth is watering. Second favourite is sliced tomato with the seeds removed, thinly sliced onion, a slice of Cheddar cheese. Grilled the sandwich with butter. Oh...tasty!

Perfectly ripe tomatoes sliced generously ,laid on white bread , buttered lavishly, with a generous amount of Hellmans mayo , and peppered well. Sometimes crisp sweet lettuce can also be added as well. A tall glass of sweet iced tea, and maybe a small amount of potatoe chips. Ok now I’m hungry!!

We have multiple soil types . we get the clay part. My husband and I adore all of you guys. You are so down to earth and helpful. P.S. I can eat them right off the vine! I've been doing that all of my life since before i was a toddler. My grandma sat me in near the peas and I ate and ate and helped myself to all different plantings. Later in the season all the different tomatoes were like being in heaven.

I love the sun gold cherry tomatoes right from the vine but otherwise on toasted bread with olive oil, basil leaves, mozzarella cheese and tomato sliced on top with sea salt and fresh ground pepper on top! I guess it is like caprese salad but on toast. Can't wait! Nice hoops with the tomahooks! Love that central raised bed in the other greenhouse. The strawberries look really happy too. Lacie you are a great mom! I'm taking a tablespoon a day of elderberry syrup from Abby Moody. I bought elders to plant in my yard this Spring. I like the new music. It was fun to watch the herding of the chickens to their new spot. Thanks for another great Vlog.

Every summer my grandmother when we harvested are tomatoes at the in the beginning we always rotated we got the first batch and everyone else got the second but my grandmother always thought her to Peg also and so we make sure that we always made bacon lettuce and tomatoes and it just it signified everything that you were doing in the garden it was so we could have home grown lettuce and tomato with our with our bacon God bless you all thank you for reminding me of this God bless you for my family to yours

I can't eat the bread because of Celiacs...so rice cakes or corn thins are my go to. So yummy topped with tomato, lettuce, black pepper and pink salt. Or brown rice crackers with blue cheeses, tomato and black pepper....my dinner tonight actually.
