I made it today & it is amazing!!! So moist, it just melts in the mouth. The best part is my 41/2 said it was yummy and wanted more!!!! I dont bake, but you just inspire me to try more even if i fail at baking sometimes, so thank you for that!!!😍 I used almond flour and tapioca flour!

This is the best banana bread recipe I’ve tried! It’s so good 😊 I made it with my daughter and it was easy and fun. Most recipes have a very wet batter that takes a long time to cook and is almost always underdone at the core and is very dense. Not here! This baked up fluffy and light. The batter held together nicely and the chocolate chips didn’t just sink to the bottom. This is my new go to banana recipe. Thank you 💕💕

I love your channel! I just made this today and it turned out amazing! I did add a tad more flour because my batter looked a bit wet. Probably because I used one frozen banana and it made my wet ingredients a bit more runny. The slight addition of flour did the trick. Thank you for the amazing recipe. So moist and fluffy! Amazing recipe! I love that it's really versatile and allows for one's own touches. For example, I added more ripe bananas (instead of the yogurt), more spices, and toasted walnuts. I found my parchment folded over the top of the pan. Next loaf I folded a crease onto the "handles" and secured them with a binder clip. Clips weighted the handles down outside the pan Worked great.

I use margarine all the time since it’s much cheaper and I’ve experimented with the same recipe using butter and margarine and there’s hardly any difference with most things. You can’t even tell once it’s baked! :)

Thanks for this recipe John! My banana bread turned out soooo soft and moist and absolutely delicious 😍 my bananas were already ripe but I wanted to extract that extra sweetness so I would definitely recommend roasting them for 10 min even if they’re ripe, it gave a stronger banana flavor and sweetness. The crust was nice and crunchy while the inside was moist. SIDE NOTE: follow the video here with the ingredients and measurements because the recipe on john’s blog is not updated I believe.

Looks wonderful! Would you consider making a Peach Melba Cake with a Peach Puree Filling on one layer & raspberry puree/jam on the other layer then, Frosted with a Peach scented Italian Buttercream? I used to get this cake at a French Pastry Shop in NY that is no longer in business. I have been dreaming about this sublime but not too sweet cake for a very long time.
