Wow Alex thank you so much!!! It is comments like yours that make all this work worth it. We are already working on season 2 so there is more to come

No worries and yes you need bumpstops. The where part depends on the kit you buy, the fiberglass fenders and wheel and tire combo you choose. After the fiberglass fenders are installed and the kit, you need to have the wheel on and use a jack to cycle the suspension up just before your tire hits the fender or anything else. The bumstop needs to be placed so that when it is fully compressed it will stop at that point to protect the fenders.

Thats the sickest bed cage i have ever seen!
@dirtlifemagazine11 жыл бұрын
Not for this project but our upcoming F150 build will include a shock tower brace that goes over the engine. Usually an engine cage is only built when you full cage your prerunner.

It is aluminum, for our F150 build we might experiment using HDPE plastic. Rock Crawlers have used this a lot on their rock sliders, and it just slides right off the rocks.

how come you didn't want to center the tire weight in the truck or over the rear axle? Is the some advantage to extending it out over the edge

Do most trucks of this style have the rear tires sitting in almost the stock track width like that while the front long travel kit causes the front tires to be extended? In the beginning of the video the difference just seems so extreme.
@AbdomialSnowman6 жыл бұрын
its a stock axle, so its deep in the wheel wheel, normally no

+ian alderson Anywhere you look? Cheap is subjective. You can find these anywhere from 11-30K, depending on year, mileage, and options. 4.3L V6, 4.8/5.3/6.0 V8 engines are available. There is also a 400hp 6.2L engine available as well, but you won't get one 'cheap'.
