I wonder if it was shipped across the ocean on a boat... That would explain why it was wet. I feel so bad :( That stinks. Literally.

The unboxing inspired me to get this painting. I love the impressive color palette with no black. Their software must break the colors down very nicely. I hope my kit has the same palette as yours. And that they keep the stink.

What a cute painting. Can't wait to see it complete. The mermaid painting I just started had over a dozen rogue colors in my bag of 310. It was so strange. 4 or 5 different colors scattered in the black drills.

I did read that all the canvases are waterproof so if it were wet it shouldn’t be damaged. Hopefully it didn’t interfere with the glue though

WOW! That's crazy how it was so wet like that! How does that even happen I wonder? I'm glad your drills and canvas are ok...I probably would have freaked out lol!

It wasn’t packaged properly which is it’s wet. If it took 5 weeks I’m assuming it came from ocean mail.

Wonder where that thing went in the shipping process...no type of packaging could have protected that. Glad the canvas did not get damaged.

Sometime these packages go through customs. Custom will open, inspect them and retape the package. They probably didn't tape it up good after inspecting if it was looked at.

Now I understand why the packages are so wrapped up when they arrive. I got one yesterday with several paintings. My husband said “You got a side of beef here.”😂😂😂

I just recd my diamond painting that I ordered on Amazon. I got it in 10 days from China and my canvas has tons of creases and smells but not wet.

Oh my god this is horrible. I’m sorry this happened. I can see the water on your table. Two of my diamond paintings came so wet the box they were in fell apart in my hands. And the cover for the canvas got go wet it wouldn’t come completely off of the sticky part. And the sticky layer of the canvas was lifting. Thank god i got new ones

I'm so OCD. Lol! I would have made sure all that wet paper that smelled and had germs on it went straight into the garbage, then sanitized the table and WASHED💦 my hands good!

I'm surprised it was shipped that way. You'd have think that they would have shipped it in an art tube to protect everything.

For the water to be inside such a tightly wrapped item, suggests to me they wrapped it while wet.

id rather have wrapping then rubber bands tend to leave creasing and if any of your drills come great easy cure use baby wipes works great no waiting to dry them and if you have sticking drills use same size drill boat one inside the other press down and you'll hear the snapping contact the seller who did you buy this from that came so awful

It sweated a lot. All that plastic trapping everything in and changes of temperatures would sweat badly with no air to ventilate it.

Yes they do. You will need little containers to store each of your diamonds though. :)

I wonder if a certain shipment got flooded. On May 24th, I recieved a DP from Paint With Diamonds and it was soaked. Unfortunately, mine wasn't safe like yours and had to receive a new canvas. But I wonder if it was the same shipment.

@megan Thompson I have a question most of my diamond paintings come with a plastic see through film that sometimes is torn from the corner and create bad tears is there a way to replace that plastic film

Araceli Herrera I’ve never done that before, but I don’t see why parchment paper wouldn’t work. Or wax paper. I would try a little section and see if it works maybe on a corner or something. Let me know if it works! That’s good info to pass along. 😊

PreschoolTeacher AddictedtoDiamondPainting Most experienced diamond painters say NOT to use wax paper. It gets stuck and can’t be removed. Parchment is the preferred replacement cover.

I have recently done this elephant. Fortunately it came well wrap. Doing all the massively dark color became quit never ending it came out beautiful. Sorry yours came with water damaged ask for a refund.

I agree with some of the comments about the liquid, maybe it's not water, wash everything including your table with warm soapy water with a few drops of bleach... I would absolutely ask for a refund. My OCD would be screaming at me to clean everything that this painting and it's packaging touched.... Meghan..... wash your hands....... UGH. It's a cute DP though :)

That’s really bad how that came. I love large diamond paintings. I have over a dozen that are 60 x 80. I would love to do a giant one but then I’m not sure how I’d frame it. Lol.

I don't understand why people order from places that takes WEEKS to be delivered - Just to find item is broken/incomplete/ruined. Amazon Prime all the way for me! I ordered 5 kits tonight (Monday) and they will all be delivered on Thursday. Anyway, sooo sorry to hear your package was so ruined. I didn't look at the date of this video, but maybe it was on that UPS airplane that went down a couple/few months ago. Eeeks! [Edit: I just found that exact elephant painting on Amazon for $17.99 USD. It will be here by Thursday (it's now 3:30am Tuesday) ]
