Thank you so much. I've been studying for a couple days and it's quite easier now to understand. The way you speak and the speed are just perfect for non english speakers.

Hey there, first of all thanks for the great video. I got a question and hope you can help me. 1) You said that it doesnt matter when something happened. (Could I say "You have said."? because I don't mention a time but I clearly mean your video." 2) But why cant I say "I have been born?" or "I have been a policeman"(I once was a policeman but I am not anymore, but I could become or not become one again. Does it matter if I could become a policeman again?) or can I? I have seen a video where someone said (maybe it was a song), "I have been born to do that." 3)And why cant I ask "Who has invented that?" 4) And is it possible to ask someone "Have you known?" and if that goes is it possible to say "I have known that." or "I have thought." without using a signal world like "always". 5)What also confuses me is that I have always thought it wouldnt be possible to say "I have loved you." or "I have liked you." but yesterday I watched a series (Game of Thrones) where a character said ("I have loved you.") 6)Besides if a person is dead theoretically the present perfect cant be used, I cant say "He has been to England." if he is dead but it is possible to say "He has died." ? / "He has been dead since 2000." Sorry for the long questions. but again great video, are you a english teacher?

Actually, I have a question, If you said: Mike and Sam have been friends since 1992 (for example). "Since" is actually something they did in the past but didn't continue right? If it did. Then What's the difference between "For" and "Since"? My teacher says: "For" Is the only word for things happened in the past and continued. But "Since" Doesn't continues. Now I'm confused..!?

I have seen in a cartoon when a scientist invented something he exclaimed right away "I did it! I did it!" Why not "I have done it!" - since it affects the present? If a lion ate my left arm yesterday I cannot say "A lion has eaten my arm yesterday" because of the word "yesterday" :S But it DOES affect the present very much since I do not have an arm. My other question is how to learn this tense when American media keeps using the simple past in place of the present perfect. I know all the rules from the grammar book regarding this tense, yet I cannot feel how people think when they use this tense. My language has only 1 past tense.
