Born in 1961, Nova Scotia, still have lots of these without boxes, i never get tired of looking at them......I still have records and play them once every few years ...I loved looking at the art work.

Thankyou Paul I was 4 in 1961, and still have memories of that catalogue, as it was then,that started my life long love of Matchbox toys that now spans nearly 60 years. and here in the U.K. nearly every boy at that time collected these small masterpieces

Interesting that the newest models were just pen drawings, no colour images. Presumably, they were still being developed and samples were not ready in time. Some great models there; one or two I've never seen before (I was born in '62, so slightly before my time) but I had many of these as a kid. The catalogue has survived in remarkable condition: thanks for sharing with us.👍 Cheers for now, Dougie.

I suspect that they printed the catalog in 1960, and only distributed the models half a year later. For example, some car colors do not match the actual ones. Best wishes
