Just to make you laugh…my husband is on vacation this week and watched this video with me. He had mentioned how good the jam looked. When you said that you’d not use all your jam and would be giving some away, he said, “give her our address!” 🤣 Have a great week!

Highly recommend you buy the book naturally sweet food in jars!! She has lots of recipes using honey or maple syrup instead of cane sugar!

There’s an apple bbq sauce recipe too that is amazing!!!! I will probably never can tomato bbq sauce because this one is so good and cheaper

I actually do have this book! Her blog is one of my favorite canning blogs. I’ll have to try the bbq sauce you recommended. I *almost* made this batch of jam with honey but it’s looking like we might have a smaller honey harvest this year and I chickened out 😂

You don't need to use pectin to make jam.

No you don't. There are many jams I don't use pectin for, but with berries I prefer the flavor using pectin so it's not cooked as long.
