Well done for actually reporting rather than just repeating. Imagine the sea defences being covered in shit? Jamestown is the historic part of Accra and it is FILTHY and decrepit. Perhaps the chiefs can clean up their town and their people. Visitors are coming. Where is the modern visitors centre? Why does Accra always have to be told basic things?

They can use anti - rust paints to beautify the rusty metals . As for the open defecation I heard the regional minister cautioning them even before the opening of the fishing harbour
@nirdmarshal7270Ай бұрын
With this very close to the sea, they should have used alloy metals which are very resistant to corrosion, just using anti rust paint may not be enough

They must make a law to make all homes have toilet... You build a house and no toilet...? The municipal assembly must come up with a bylaw that ensures that every landlord builds a toilet in the house... They should not build any community toilets... Every home must build one...

Agreed

Yes that's true
@perrypope9064Ай бұрын
@paakwegyir3165 on the issue of open defecation it crosses along the whole coastal stretch man, most of these buildings you see at these areas were built as far back as 1700’s (300yrs + old) and they were all built without washrooms, rather have public toilets provided in each vicinity. And obviously are they well kept? No

What will happen to the quarters of the construction workers? I hope the area will be cleared for something nice

Any idea what or who owns the dilapidated castle type structure by the fishing harbour?
@NanaYawObeng_Ай бұрын
Sadly that’s James Fort

@@NanaYawObeng_ Wow, that’s so bad. This needs to be looked at by the government especially in this day and age where tourism is one of our strong foreign exchange earner. Thanks for coming back to me. Cheers!
