My husband used to have to meet with President Bush a lot when we lived in DC and he'd come home with the funniest Barney stories. Once, when I was able to be a guest I saw Barney myself - he was outside going potty - with his OWN Secret Service agent, no less. I loved my husband's stories so much, and fell in love when I finally saw him in person I decided i wanted one of my own. Last year my husband surprised me with my own Scottish Terrier - they are ALL little pistols.

It is always good to see President Bush and the former 1st Lady Lara Bush from youtube. They are always principled, friendly, sincere and decent. Their dogs are so cute, especially the small one.

President Bush has always been my favorite president since I’ve been alive. I remember that in my 5th grade class when he ran for the second time. Our class had a Voting Booth and I was the only one who voted for him. I wasn’t ashamed. Because, I really love his family and find them endearing and sweet. I was just embarrassed because, my teacher had said it would be anonymous. Yet, my handwriting gave me away. Since I was the only one who wrote/owned a pink pen and dotted her i’s with little hearts. Sooo, my teacher actually told me in front of the entire class, “Don’t feel embarrassed. You vote for who you want.” Me mentally thinking back then: Yeah… I wasn’t embarrassed. At least, not until you outed me in front of every single classmate. 😳

Two black cute dogs. One must be mom, the other is her child. The small one is naughty. I love President Bush 43 and his wife the former 1st Lady Laura Bush. Very down to earth kind person, although they are former President Bush and former 1st Lady Bush. Their kindness and generosity nature will always be worthy for us to learn.

The older dog is Barney - a male. The little one is Beazley, a female that they got later. Both are now gone....LOVE these breed of dogs.
