Scotties are the best companions. I've had three in the last twenty years. They are feisty, funny, protective, and loyal. They can be a bit stubborn, but they are pretty smart.

Agreed! I lost my dog a week shy of her 16th birthday. Their lives are so short but make ours worth living. Taala is so right. Enjoy it while you can!

I am a HUGE Scottie lover and have had 7 of them over the years, Dougal being my handsome boy right now. They are precious! Scottish Terriers only come in 3 colours, Black, Brindle and Wheaten. I have had brindle and black, but not wheaten. They are very hard to find and also COST the earth. Westies are lovely too and come only in a wheaten shade. Just AMAZING dogs with a attitude!!! CRAZY about them. This video is lovely to watch. Thank you.

Love this video and love my little scottie girl Lucy! She is nine and still incredibly puppy like!! Very smart, very loyal, but yes as others said - sometimes a bit stubborn. I tell her. "Your scottie is showing" :D Wouldn't trade her personality for anything!

My dog died some months ago at the age of 15. There wasn't much travelling done during the last few years. Warm home was what she preferred. Folks, enjoy the company of your dogs while you still can.

Your Scotties are THE most precious example of the true gentle intelligent nature of a well taken care of babies where the humans understand the species thus brings out the best of the character ~ I just lost my little girl last year ... she was seven. Waaay too early. My Logan is soon to be 10 in June and he would like a little girl baby top teach all his good traits.
