Oh my goodness! Jace, I also saw Missy get really tough, and especially whenever the woman who was trying to shoo her off the stage kept getting closer. Every step closer she took, Missy got tougher. She did not speak faster. She did not lose her cool. She kept her cadence. She kept her voice strong and it was amazing. @perfectblindguy Paul says it in Romans 9:5, and Colossians 1:15. Jesus himself also says it in John 10:30 "I and My Father are one.” If Jesus cannot be God, where did his power come from? How was he able to heal the blind and those with leprosy if he was not God?

@perfectblindguy Paul uses the term "firstborn" to refer to Jesus' status and identity as the only Son of the Father, (which you cited, when Jesus was baptized) who is also one with the Father. (This is the mystery of the trinity, which we can't fully comprehend but is talked about in John 1:1-5, and 10:30, and in Genesis God says "Let US make human beings in OUR image, to be like US" (Genesis 1:26) "Look, the human beings have become like US, knowing both good and evil" (Genesis 3:22) which lines up with John 1 where he says "In the beginning the Word already existed. The Word was with God, and the Word was God." ("the Word" referring to Jesus) The eunuch said "I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God", because Philip had just finished explaining the Good News about Jesus, and he wanted to be baptized. (Acts 8:29-38) Isaiah 9:6 also talks about Jesus being God, "...And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, MIGHTY GOD, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace." And even if it's only recorded in John, what difference does it make? John is still one of the gospels. There is only one story that's included in all of the Gospels, and that's when Jesus fed the 5000 (Matthew 14:13-21, Mark 6:30-44, Luke 9:10-17, and John 6:5-14) God (the father) and Jesus (God the son) are not the same, but still both God (this again is the mystery of the trinity, something our human brains can't comprehend) And I've seen him preform miracles in my life. He's healed my sister in ways doctors haven't been able to explain, and he pulled me out of an incredibly deep depression to the point where some people don't believe I'm the same person. So I do know he has preformed miracles. And that's also where faith comes in (Hebrews 11:1). Plus, we know the bible is true because of the discovery of the dead sea scrolls. Ever notice the fact that no other book has lasted as long as the bible? Jesus says in Matthew 24:35 "Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away."

To hear that her parents used to pray for her future husband when she was growing up was so touching. And to hear you describe the event and Missy doing her speech...that is true love and devotion. Wow! I love how Holy Spirit gave Missy exactly what to say! Regarding surprise pregnancies, Zack, we had a funny occurance at a Messianic congregation in Tiberius a few years ago. The pastor had a heart problem, and his congregation prayed for his complete healing, from head to toe, not knowing he had had a vascetomy. He fathered another four children. Hee hee.
