And of all the audio clips I've backed up, I got everything except for that barking noise Donald made, hence the silence in episode 4. Sorry for the confusion. Great job as always. Reminds me of what I love about old Bioware and makes seeing them fall so far from what they were (*cough* Veilguard *cough*) truly saddening. Can't wait to see the boys react to the Expanded Galaxy, Diversification Project, and Spectre requisition mods. I really want to see them respond to the Shiala Romance, the restored Kasumi mission, and the Vorcha being cast for Shakespeare (Rescue the "Void Devils" asset and complete resulting SPECTRE Authorization). Any other playthroughs planned after? Andromeda? Something else?

​@@ColonelCosmologyBesides the blatently obvious political inserts (double mastectomy scar option in the character creator, allowing charcters to pick their pronouns, helping your companion come out as non-binary to her mother at dinner, Isabella doing a "barve" (doing pushups as a physical pennance because simply apologizing isn't good enough) for misgendering, etc.), all the things that make bioware games great are completely missing. The dialogue makes Andromeda look positively Shakespearean. Companion interactions, a Bioware game's bread and butter, are especially poorly written and acted. The words "cringe", "painful", "awkward", and "unnatural" come to mind. Regarding role-play elements, it feels very restrictive. The dialogue options and morality feel especially limited, you aren't allowed to be "bad". They clearly don't want the player to say mean things. The most you get is sulky or petulent. If you want to play a ruthless or morally dubious character, too bad, the developers don't think you should be allowed to do that. It feels like they wanted to limit your options for role playing to what they wanted not what the player wanted. Besides the mediocre companions and dialogue, the story is bland and poorly written. I've heard people joke that it was written by AI, but that is honestly an insult to AI. The plot and continuity are screwed six ways from sunday. The exquisite world building established in the Dragon Age games, another staple of Bioware and this franchise in particular, is constantly rewritten, contradicted, or outright ignored. The way they butchered the Qunari is a good example. Gameplay wise, I find it repetitive and boring and a further degradation of the Dragon Age gameplay. You aren't even able to take direct control of companions, which was a key part of the DA franchise. The fact that this is part of the same franchise as the masterpiece, Dragon Age: Origins, feels like an insult. The puzzles are so easy and mindless that it is clear that the designers' shoe size is probably higher than their IQ and they obviously think that the players are as stupid as they are. Example: Pick up an object and move it like 5 feet to a clearly marked pedastel. Even DSP would find these easy. The graphics are fine. Though some of the locations, like Tevinter, feel like they were designed for a completely different world/franchise. You also can't import the worldstate you created in the previous games, something every game before did, making all your decisions in the preceding games utterly irrelevant. They clearly couldn't be bothered to integrate Dragon Keep into the game. Not that I'm surprised. Their writing is lazy and piss-poor as it is. Writing to accommodate alternative circumstances is obviously too much work and would require more creativity than their vacuous minds are capable of producing. In short, it feels like it was designed and written by a bunch of untalented hacks who cared more about inserting their own ideas and politics than designing a good game. They either didn't know or didn't care about what came before and have removed everything that makes Dragon Age great. Bioware is dead. All of the writers and designers who created the great games in the past, like Mass Effect, Dragon Age, and KOTOR are gone, replaced by talentless, mouth-breathing ideologues huffing their own farts and willing to butcher what came before in order to make the mediocre, politics ridden slop that is all they are capable of. We will never get a DA: Origins remaster and I dread the abomination that Mass Effect 5 will probably be. Sorry about the length but I really dislike this game. I hope I answered your question.

@@trevor7962 No that's perfect. I think it's unfortunate that some developers aren't willing to push the envelope as far as morality systems in current games. I think their idea is to be as squeaky clean as possible for fear of getting cancelled or run out of the industry, and they do this in two ways: 1. Make all dialogue feel neutral and primarily good natured/heroic, barely stepping outside the lines of those qualities at all, and 2. Including scenes that appeal to more hard left wing ideologies. It's not to say you can't do this, games do it a lot without being super on the nose, but it's pretty common to see it shoehorned in ways that don't feel natural. In the future, it would be nice if writers would be more willing to walk a thinner line with their writing. Make us think about things within the game world, philosophical ideas that present moral quandaries. I know mass effect did that really well in a lot of areas. That's the stuff that will keep us talking well after a games release. Persistent quippy and jokey dialogue will also be remembered, but for less fond reasons lol

The Mass Effect lore after Mass Effect 1 looks like something an angsty teenager would write. It simply is not believable unlike the codex in Mass Effect 1 where the writer tried to imagine what the galaxy would look like if just one thing was changed about the galaxy, that thing being the existence of element zero.

ME2 back on the 360 was the only game I 100% the achievements & played on the hardest difficulty. It was that much fun. Oblivion was a close second but then the game glitched so I never got the last achievement. Seems on point for a Bethesda game I suppose.

I never thought about this before, but now I see a large flaw in the Council/Alliance claiming that Sovereign is a Geth ship, and I don't mean any of the obvious things that everyone has talked about. That is, it is undisputable that this "Geth ship" took out several warships single handedly while sitting still and tanking hundreds of cannon rounds from cruisers and dreadnaughts that would destroy the ships of any Council race in a couple shots. This should lead to massive fear of what the Geth would push out next, and an invasion of Geth space due to the massive fleet and supremely powerful ship they sent to attack the Citadel. We of course know that it was a Geth splinter faction, and since the vast majority Geth stayed with the main consensus, the Citadel races' military would probably get devastated in this war, but no one in universe knows that at this point.
