I bought this a few months ago and have yet to incorporate it into my flow, because I'm so mousey, but i love watching your videos to pump up my inspiration to dive in.

Can you make it so the default entry velocity of 60 can be changed? Most times you want it higher, especially when working with plugin drum machines. It's an odd limitation of the pattern view?

Right there at 5:09 to 5:23 where you said "this thing is so fun, I could do that for hours", it would be awesome if we could output/print that performance/improvisation to a separate audio track. Is this possible? I'd rather not want to duplicate a part then add /remove parts. I just want to flow and go.

Question. If you want a patern like: 1 quarter note plus 4 sixteenth notes plus 3 eighth dotted notes plus 2 eighth notes for exemple. This is my pattern. Just one measure. Can I do that type of measure with that? I'm kind of sad cause every tutorial about sequencer are always in robotic way. More like arp than à real sequence with diffrent types of time sugnature notes. I need one. Thanks to help me and guide me to the right sequencer that i need

Could you please show a demo of how PreSonus treats customers when there is a warranty return?
@al8xandros3 жыл бұрын
Thx for the video, would be really cool if the SQ had the sequencer built inside the firmware rather than it being a hw/sw integration. That would let it work even when directly connected to hardware (using a MIDI host adapter) or with any DAW. Of course it's mainly made for PreSonus software but it would bring so much value if it was a more universal controller.

I got the Atom SQ yesterday. So far, having the original Atom since launch, I feel that the SQ doesn’t give me something new or amazing to use it or keep it unfortunately. I’m sending it back. I was looking to get the iostation 24c but I don’t want to feel let down again from a presonus product since I’m a huge advocate for the brand amongst my colleagues.
@exhumus3 жыл бұрын
If all of the things demonstrated in this video don't appeal to you, then the SQ was never for you. I'm very happy with my OG Atom as well, but even more tempted to get an SQ after this video.

@@exhumus I’m very happy with the 1rst Gen Atom. But just like you said the SQ it’s not for me.

Funny had the orignal atom too and sold it for the atom sq. Like the pattern editor.
@haroldbones843 жыл бұрын
@@Ebasstutorials I really gave it a try. Did everything there’s to do with it and it felt weird. Sometimes it even had a weird delay on the touch and like if triggering the pads made the source sound doubled.

@gregor Is it really not possible to make a melodic sequence and then easily transpose it on the fly? So simple to implement and I cant believe Studio One or ATOM SQ cant do it? There must be a way. All great sequencers do it! Is there a workaround? Please answer!! Thanks
@presonus3 жыл бұрын
You can transpose it straight from the Track Inspector (F4 key). Alternatively, you could prepare transpositions as Pattern Variations and flip through them with ATOM SQ that way. -GBY
@alalal19793 жыл бұрын
@@presonus Thank you so much for the answer. Problem is it’s not really a live and inspiring way to do it if I have to sort of preprogram it. If there is any way you guys could fit this into either studio one or atom it will be incredibly appreciated. All old school hardware sequencers have this option. Thanks!

Another awesome video by my guy Gregor. However, I can’t help but notice that there’s a lack of hip hop tutorials in regards to S1. There’s a wide open lane for anyone who’s been thinking about getting into the KZbin space and are decent at making beats and explaining things. Otherwise I’ve got to pull out that pesky f1 key... or is it f2.🤷🏽♂️
