If you use 3/4 cup of warm tea, they will look antique. 😉 Love this. Thanks! 🎄🎅🎄
@Bamboo4U25 жыл бұрын
That's even better than using food dyes for color. You could use different tea flavors. They come in lots of different varieties. (Personally, I think some of them [like the apple] smell a whole lot better than they actually taste, but here's a good way to use up yucky-tasting tea!)

Happy to have found your channel this year. ❤❤ This dough mix is now my all time favorite for preserving beauty. I made a batch, cut out a few shapes, and then had a clump leftover. I wrapped it in plastic to see how long it would last. 😅 I forgot about it for weeks and it was fully malleable and fine in the plastic when I finally returned to it. I ended up rolling it flat while in the plastic so that I could press my dog's paw onto it after (nothing wet or smelly for her to deal with). She didn't mind it at all! Came out super cute. 🎉 Thank you!!

This would be lovely for a garden club Christmas tree. Ours is displayed at a local nursing home for the month of December. A year-round branch tree lit with fairy or LED twinkle lights would be beautiful with these pressed flower ornaments, too! I loved the tip from a viewer of making "vintage" ornaments by replacing warm water with coffee. Thanks for the video!

Wow! These ornaments are so beautiful and so creative Laura :) My grandmother loved lavender so much, she always used lavender perfumes and soaps, always had lavender plants and oils all around her house, we used to joke that we always knew she was nearby before we we could even see her sometimes because we could smell lavender ... you could literally smell lavender if she was in the next room lol 💜💜💜 Making lavender Christmas ornaments for our tree would be something so precious to have in memory of her. My hubby and I have a few beautiful lavender plants in our bedroom that can be used for this. Since your last video on flower pressing I've been using my flower press a lot and it's so enjoyable and amazing the things that can be made 🎁🔔☃️🎄
