The symbolism of the olive press really touched me when i wrapped my head around it. The entire idea of a tree, and trimming out the bad, to bear more fruit... simply amazing. You can see the Martyrs of Christ, who bore much fruit, and in their last days were killed. That is awful, but in so doing, the Gospel got out to the world! Their final act of bearing fruit, was to spread the Gospel around like oil! God is amazing, and the symbolism He uses to teach us and guide us is astonishing to me.

Sometimes you watch a random video and it gives you answers to your questions. What I wanted to see in this video is the process of making olive oil, simple as that. But as, I was watching, things started getting clear . I didn't know the difference between " crushing the olives" and " pressing the olives", but the crushing of olives has a special meaning to me because it is a word I was given 5 years ago when my son passed away. The pressing of olive is an answer to what I am experiencing now . Everything makes sense now, I am at peace and the timing is on point since we are a few days after Easter.
