Loved the show, girls! "Old Wooden Chair" has the flavor of a tune that could have come over on the boat with settlers from the British Isles in the 18th or 19 century. A very nice tune to keep a musical tradition alive and well! When you started off with "Red is the Rose," I immediately thought "Loch Lomond." Until now, I had no Idea there was an absolutely beautiful Irish version of the old Scottish tune. "Brasstown" is something special. Hope you never let it gather dust.

Oh my goodness! You two look exactly alike in this video! I can barely tell which is which! There is a slight difference in your voices that I can detect which makes you sound a tiny bit different which helps me to distinguish which is Katie and which is Corrie! Wow! Amazing! In the later videos it is easier to tell, but here, unbelievable!

Check out the Alan Lomax archives, it will give you a complete overview about hill country music he recorded everyone you have never heard of on their front porches, living room etc. Check out Sam Chatman-Make Me Pallet on The Floor. Alan Lomax recorded him in 1978.
