Hi Shirani. I hope you had a nice Christmas. My daughter and her boyfriend came over. My son wasn't able to make it this year. He lives in Louisiana and I am in Florida. My Mom used ham hocks in any beans she made if she could find them or she used fat back or bacon which is how I do too. Happy New Year!

One time, the temperature said it felt like -8°F outside. That's cold for us here in Texas. Well, that was nice that you got to spend Christmas with your daughter.
