Could have been a venting issues as well with the cap or overfilled tank. Same happened to me and I took out some fuel and it runs great now.

Mine runs like a madman but cuts off almost immediately. It was sitting in the garage untouched for a few months.

Mine is the same way it worked great all last year. Was you able to get your fixed or figure out the problem

Were you able to figure out where the issue came from? I'm having a similar issue with BOTH of my pressure washers. I was suspecting bad gas from Sunoco. The first pressure washer began having issues similar to yours. So, I cleaned out the carb and took apart the fuel tank cap to clean it. Same issue. I had a 2nd identical power washer with a tank of bad gas, which I drained via the sediment catch reservoir (if that's what you call it) and it definitely had enough flow to meet the demand of the engine. Then added new gas and it was having the exact same issue as the first pressure washer! It's driving me crazy! I even ran them with the fuel cap off to make sure it wasn't creating a vacuum.

Yes, there is a filter on the exit on the tank, and a larger one over the filler cap when you pour in the fuel.
