Why didn't the BBC challenge David Whitehouse the CEO of Offshore Energies UK who said "...surely it makes sense that we use our own homegrown energy and if we do that we support the people those important supply chain companies that actually not only will help us with our oil and gas but will pivot to develop our world class capability in carbon storage in Wind in particularly floating and also hydrogen.". So I take it we won't be selling our oil and gas to the international markets then? Also he mentioned carbon capture and storage which is an unproven technology and may not be as helpful as it is being hyped up to be.

He seemed to think the oil and gas they produce will be used domestically when he said "...surely it makes sense that we use our own homegrown energy..." and that just isn't the case because it will be sold to the international markets...and the BBC didn't challenge that.
