Fascinated by this,all the equipment the technical skills,etc. My mind wandered back to a simpler time when as a lad I would sit by a riverbank with my split cane 7 ft rod,centrepin reel,juicy worm on a 12 hook, porcupine quill float,waiting with heart beating faster for that first bob. absolute joy

Hi guys great video. Can you tell me what shore Michael was fishing on Garadice ??? 2friends and I off to Ireland on 9 May for 10 days. We are all in our 60’s and going to be baiting and fishing Garadice every evening. Looks a nice easy bank for us as we don’t do boxes or in the 💦 sitting. Cheers John

Question for Michael please. What would be the longest distance you would fish with the 520 Centris before changing to a bigger reel. As looking at the Daiwa tdr 19 25 qd. Reels in same amount of line per turn of the handle as the 520. 95cm. Is it worth using a bigger reel or sticking with my 520’s. Love these reels, I have a 320, 2x 420’s & 2x 520,s. Cheers John

Hi , having only just watched the first 15 mins I noticed that Des makes up his groundbait first then does his pellets. My question is would it benefit the groundbait if you used the water from the pellets to put in the groundbait due to the pellets giving off some some taste/flavour????

Great vid lads thanks. One question please Lee.. How do the fish lose the feeder if you get a cut-off or break as you're connecting and changing the feeder using a lead clip? Maybe it's something I've missed!
@michaelgoff5231 Жыл бұрын
Why on earth do modern match anglers using a method feeder almost point the rod at the feeder instead of putting the rod to one side to produce a bigger angle. Pointing the rod at the feeder, at some stage during the bite and strike, the rod will be more direct and prone to breakage. Wouldn't get pickering or Heaps doing that. Why 🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️
